There are a number of different knowledge skills that are"X" tactics.
To my knowledge, that is:
Combat Tactics
Small Unit Tactics
Mixed Unit Tactics

Of those, SUT & MUT have well defined rules and manuevers while Combat Tactics has a few honorable mentions on how the skill could be applicable.

Is there a design reason to keep adding new skills rather than expanding on older and original skills?

As newer skills are added and older ones become obsolete, are there any plans to consolidate a short PDF that briefly describes all the capabilities and limits with book page references to aid players and GMs to keep track of what does what?
