What is the difference between these? I cant find anything in the errata about them.

Vulcan is 5 10R 66k 5 6
Proteus is 5 12R 68k 5 6

Is there supposed too be a difference for these or is there nor reason to take the one that is harder to get and costs more but does the same thing? Also how many programs can an rcc run at once? it gives me the sharing rate, but not the flat program number that can be run at once.

The following numbers are from the German BRB:

Maser Industrial Electrics: Data Processing 5, Firewall 5.
Vulcan Liegelord: Data Processing 5, Firewall 6.
Proteus Poseidon: Data Processing 6, Firewall 5.
If Tom Brady’s a Spike Baby, what does that make Brees and Rodgers?

Interesting Pixie - I wonder if that's a typo for errata in the English version?

As to the programs thing - all of the cyberdecks can run a number of programs equal to their device rating.  So I'd wager that would hold true for RCCs as well.  That's just speculation though, as I don't have any hard evidence to back up my opinion.

I assume that autosofts qualify as programs for the purposes of the number ofprograms that can be run at once?

Most likely, though this is another area that has no specific answer.  The thing is that autosofts are classified as programs, so I would assume this is the case.
