Title: Does barehanded adept give actual spells?
Post by: Desiani on <09-05-17/1746:03>
For a regular adept, does that quality give actual spellcasting spells? The wording to me just says they use Unarmed +magic... but doesn't say they can actually cast spells. :/

If it doesn't specifically give them spells, then no, they don't get spells. However, you don't need spells to have a Magic attribute.

If the quality gives the Adept the -ability- to cast spells, but gives no spells, why on earth would you take it?  Adepts ain't allowed to cast... so how do they learn spells? :/

OK, finally recovered enough from post-DragonCon to care about finding the quality, since the book wasn't named. Reading from Forbidden Arcana, I'd say that, yes, you would get Magic/2 spells that you can cast at touch range.
