I've grown tired of rolling 20+ dice for NPCs, so I wrote a small web app for my phone. I've uploaded it to: http://www.prosperity-station.com/ShadowRun/sr5Dice2.html .

The main difference between my app and the one posted earlier is that mine is designed for mobile devices. As such it looks like a calculator so users do not have to constantly call up their phone's keyboard.

The app displays the number of Hits and if it was a Glitch or Critical Glitch. It also displays the Total of the dice which is useful for initiative.

Options are available to "Push the Limits" (toggle the Edge button) as well as re-rolling Failures.

It uses Jquery and JqueryMobile, so you'll need a live connection to the internet in order to use the tools.

I'll be adding other software tools to http://www.prosperity-station.com/ShadowRun as I think of them.

The app has been updated to support Gremlins. Just use the G button. If you enter 12 G 4, it means that it will roll 12 dice and apply Level 4 Gremlins to the roll.

Works best with Firefox and Chrome.

I've added a page the breaks down the die roll result. Hit the I button after rolling the dice.

Also added code that provides a vibrate feedback and the buttons are pressed.  Unfortunately, only firefox currently supports the W3C standard for vibration on Android.

I've reimplemented the die roller using bootstrap (it looks different and runs faster now)

I've also added in the ability to define up to 16 presets.  If your browser supports it, the presets will be saved between sessions.

The presets are set by entering the die roll as normal and then pressing and holding one of the preset buttons.

The new version is http://www.prosperity-station.com/ShadowRun/sr5Dice3.html

I'll keep the old version available for those that prefer it.

Cool!  I'm going to recommend this to my players.  Thanks  :)

My old domain name is gone, snatched by a cyber-squatter.   I see by the log files that a number of folk use my humble die roller, so I've moved it to my new domain.  Unfortunately, there isn't anyway for me to contact those using the program.

The new address is:

Love the app. Sorry to hear about the old domain getting snatched.
