It does look like the same sort of profile from the street legends, but all dragons do look alike to me. :P

I saw it as a sort of visual inception, you know, planting nagging suspicion about Saeder-Krupp's involvement in the reader's mind :p

By the way the piece is also used earlier in the book.

Didn't Saeder-Krupp initially have their talons in a LOT of AI development, and later offering a lot of AI's 'refuge'? They were also the only corp to come through Crash 2.0 almost completely unscathed thanks to their massive redundancies and security systems.

It all seems a bit too conveniant.
