It is quite possible the freakiest drek O'Connor has ever seen, the round drives into the thick knee of the ork, the surface fragmentation shredding his pant leg, but instead of blowing his kneecap off, the entire knee area immediately balloons out three times its size.  When the Swede's brain registers the pain it is going to be something else, and there is no way that joint will move again anytime soon.

Clem, clenching her jaw and trying to avoid any of the fans blocking her way, aims once more at her target and shoots another round, rage building inside of her.

Ork-on-ork violence is again given a reprieve as Mohawk continues to dodge Clem's fire.

4th pass, O'Connor?

O'Connor wasn't sure how Swede's knee did what it did, but it didn't really matter. O'Connor made a declaration that the Swede was gonna be missing a leg, and the drekhead was going to be missing a leg. O'Connor lined up another shot on the kneecap and fired.

Neither runner had noticed in all the chaos around them the iBall microdrone  that had rolled into the room, so when it zipped over for the best angle to pop it's flash-pak in O'Connor's face, it was a complete surprise.

Though his flare compensator cut the glare in half, it still spoiled his shot enough to keep him from making good on his threat this time.

New Initiatives.

O'Connor gave the iBall an affronted look after it messed up his shot, and he retaliated with a swift kick.

The pink Mohawk being close enough now, Clem put away her handgun and took out her stun baton, ready for the ork's next move.

O’Connor goes to placekick the strobing drone like he was kicking a field goal for the Seahawks, but was still having difficulties with the strobe effect itself.  So he missed the little ball zooming forward as he went to plant his foot and turning his kick into an unintentional backflip.

There seems to be some kind of cosmic sitcom that has begun starring Clem and O’Connor that they are not privy to, because as O’Connor’s boot traces an arc over his head he sees Clementine begin to juke to her right ahead of Mohawk’s stabbing her with a stun baton.  The intersection of boot and ork head is right at the temple, and the rest of the crash of the two bodies ends with a pileup that leaves you both prone.

Mohawk easily adjusts his thrust and Clem feels the jolt coursing through her.

O’Connor once again feel the weight of a body crashing down one him.  This time, instead of animal rage and ripping flesh filling his ears, it is a metahuman screaming as he tries to crush O’Connor’s throat.  “MY KNEE!!! YOUSONOVASLITCHGONNABREAKYAFRAGGINNECK!!”

Not a whole lot of difference actually.

(Both of you defend from Melee, no full defense possible, -2 for being prone)

Clem, bracing herself for Mohawk's attack, never saw O'Connor coming. Hit from behind, she only had time to wonder what had happened before finding herself on the ground, looking at Mohawk from a weak position, attempting to dodge his jab.

As O'Connor flipped through the air, his subconscious decided to mock him by dredging up half remembered images of Charlie Brown. After landing on the ground, he was in a bit of stupor still trying to comprehend what had happened. He was brought out of his stupor by the Swede. O'Connor did his best to avoid the assault, which from a prone position amounted mostly to squirming and flailing, "Get the frag offa me, drekhead!" He mentally sighed, *I'm a ranged fighter, how do I keep finding myself in ground-and-pounds?*

In spite of of her attempt, Clem feels the prongs of the other ork's weapon make contact.  (9S total, plus elec)

In spite of his odd position, O'Connor ALMOST slips away.  He finds himself in an oddly inverted half-crab arm bar, with the pulpy ruined mass of Swede's former knee weeping fluids onto his face as he is pinned down.  (Subdued)

Clem, disoriented from the fall, tries to move away from her attacker but is electrocuted from a direct hit to the side of her ribcage. The ork groans from the shock of the damage, but quickly tries to shrug off the pain and the numbness she feels from the attack.

Sam could hear gunshots and screaming nearby. Sounds like the gun nuts are having fun. Hopefully they'll finish up soon and some help me with this freak, he thought to himself. Oddly enough, he found that he was actually starting to enjoy himself, now that the initial shock of being attacked was wearing off. With a quick feint at the goon's face, he instead swung as hard as he could at his right knee.

[spoiler]
Sam's poor self control is going to get him into trouble someday...quite possibly very, very soon. :-\ But he is what he is.

Attack to knock down (risky, I know, but probably Sam's best chance to get out of this alive): 7d6.hits(5)=3

If that hits and his strength--2--plus net hits is greater than the goon's body score, the knock down succeeds. Either way, Sam will start moving towards the room that Clem & O'Connor are in.

The utter audacity of what might be the very first, and last, offensive action by Samuel Torley almost managed to take the street hardened warrior in front of him by surprise, ALMOST.

The scarred fighter attempts to drop a pistol butt on Torley's skull as he follows.  6d6.hits(5)=2

(OOC: Full turn movement will carry Torley to the door by the end of the present turn, if he is not beaten down before then, but that will be after all of the actions the gun-bunnies have to take)

Over behind the bar, Sammy's attacker confidently moves to retrieve his stun baton from the ice bin and check it's functionality, giving the ork mage a chance to slap the panic button she sees under the bartop and prepare to return to the fight.  From this angle she notes that her summoned spirit has not yet departed, the red mist still hanging over the wall where all the screaming and shooting is coming from, leading her to the conclusion that the enemy mage not only broke her connection to her spirit but established one of his own.

(OOC: Sammy's up)

Now he was distracted a bit, it was time to try and take him out again.  She gathered the mana again and started gesturing, lobbing another stunbolt towards the guy in front of her.
