Okay, sorry folks, finals week.  Bacchus ties you on the vehicle roll so you will stay at long range.  Everyone else can take actions, Bacchus is using his actions to maintain speed and driving defensive.  You are both operating at 80 kph at the beginning of the scene, then both accelerated to 100.  Any faster will call down a vehicle test as it is more difficult to respond to the road at that speed.

It will take a little more than a single complex action, you are in a sedan, not an SUV.  If you are going to access the trunk that will require you moving Snow basically into Torley's lap, and then accessing the trunk, and then moving a rifle into passenger compartment, and then doing the prep you mentioned.  All of which are complex actions, it will take more time if Torley isn't willing to help you.

Pretty much, you can take driving actions to improve your chances to gain, but until the next round you will not close.

Yes, though in doing so he will be shoving the incapacitated hacker into the mage who is also trying to actions.
