The short story anthology Spells & Chrome just won an Origins Award for Best Game-Related Publication! We're very excited and grateful to everyone who voted for it. Special thanks go to John Helfers, who oversaw the whole thing, and the talented writers who contributed to it.

Now it's time to use this as leverage to push for more Shadowrun fiction …

Congrats!  My wife hasn't let me read that one yet (it's on her Kindle, but I can never wrestle it away from her to take a look)!

So, the e-book version has sold well, how about a Dead Tree Format version for us backwards and low-tech types.  Newfangled Computer Thingies!

I can finally write my own SR novel.

Excuse me. My own canon SR novel.*

Wait. Get paid for a SR novel.

Yeah. That's it.

* Yeah, yeah. Hey, none of my twelve players/co-writers put the goddamn thing together.

Me thinks I shall prepare a proposal for some shadowrun fiction... maybe something to do with a Troll street samurai who moonlights as a male escort...

Reminds me of the pic in 3rd edition.  Troll dressed up in the trench coat and bowler with the old english pipe.

It's out in print! I had a bunch of copies at Origins, and they can be bought through Barnes and Noble. And other outlets, I imagine.

So now that this is officially an "award winning product", there any plans for say, Spells and Chrome II, Martix Boogaloo in the works?
