The only thing that really jumped out at me was the Contacts section. I believe you have too many points in there, also a starting contact can not have a combined C+L rating higher than 7. Your skill pools seem a little low to me for a B&E guy. You might want to consider swapping Attributes and Skills. It's a pretty big jump between B & A.

Fixed the contacts and I'll have a look at swapping the skills for the attributes. Thanks for the advice.  :)

If you have that much cash left over, and are basing your character concept highly on the thief aspect, why don't you buy the B&E gear at a higher ratings? You also probably want a basic set of lockpicks and a hardware kit.
The disguise skill generally requires at least a disguise kit to function.
A set of armor (armor vest/lined coat) you can walk down the street without raising too many eyebrows isn't a bad idea. Yes a stealth suit is only R, but it still sticks out.
Stick and shock or gel rounds so you don't have to kill people when you don't want to (you are a gentleman after all!)
If you are a thief and going in ahead of a team, image link is useful
A helmet costs 100 nuyen and is always handy to have as an option
Ditto for either a gas mask or respirator.
Half a kilometer of stealth rope may be overkill to start with. If you have the cash, it doesn't hurt anything though.

Like Jack said, you may be better off going with more skills. As a few examples, with only 6 dice, con will be highly unreliable on even a basic security guard,
You will struggle with more advanced locks given the locksmith skill and current gear ratings
Swimming 2 and running 3 may be overkill.

The corporate security contractor would be between you and your gm, and how the two of you see him/her/it. If you are thinking about megas, they tend to have their own security departments/companies.

Also realize one out of 6 combat turns, you will only have one pass (more often with any negative modifiers). Getting that second pass is rather important if you can find away (slightly less important if running in a bigger group). Still, being able to run before they get to shoot at you when you find yourself in a bad situation can help as well.

I agree with pretty much all of the above.
- Check the availability on your B&E gear and make sure you've purchased the top rating that you can.
-Gecko Tape Gloves are always a useful back up too.
- I'd grab an Actioneer Business Suit for day to day, you are a gentleman after all.
- I'd go S&S over gel just for its utility against drones, which you are probably going to run into if something goes pear-shaped on a B&E.
- Image links are useful, but you get one with stock cybereyes. You might want to add it to the list of cybereye enhancements just so you don't forget you've got it.
- I don't see many people taking them, but a R3 hand-held sensor with three useful sensors like Motion Sensor and Ultrasound can be pretty useful for a B&E guy to detect motion sensors and whatnot.
- If you can squeeze it in, I'd take a few ranks of Negotiation.

Just to be clear, a handheld sensor housing can only hold one function. Rating 3, is how good the sensor is, not the number of things it can do. Thus you might have a handheld rating 3 motion sensor (say, a watch), and it would get 3 dice to perceive motion. Perhaps it doesn't detect a cat, or perhaps it detects a swarm of gnats as a person briefly. Another housing is needed for another sensor.

However, a single sensor also takes up only 1 capacity when it is built into another object. So you could build a motion sensor into your lined coat (maybe a rating 4 because a coat is a larger object), and then put a laser microphone into your watch, and a sonic sensor into something else that has capacity. Or they could all be handheld common objects.

This is probably a part of why people dont often buy them. The rules are spelled out poorly.

In general you might want to "tall stack" more. dropping some skills (use karma for the 1's) and then move those points to other skills for better rolls.

Acting Group 5 ,
Stealth Group 5,
Pistols 6
Locksmith 6
Perception 6
Gymnastics 6
Etiquette 6
Negotiation 6
Hardware 4,   (not really sure you need this)
Computer 4,
Escape artist 1, (karma)
Clubs 1, (karma)
Free Fall 1,  (karma)
Pilot Ground 1, (karma)
Running 1,  (karma)
Swimming 1 (karma)

You could drop a couple points in Computer and Hardware and get some specializations like:
Perception: Visual
Pistols: Semi-auto
Negotiation: Bargaining

The same applies to your Stats now that I look at it. Your STR isn't going to be useful to you, you should probably just use a stun baton.
B 3
A 6 (7)
R 2
s 2 (with karma)
W 3
L 3
I 4
C 5
Ess 4.2
EDG 5

Along that same thinking about STR you could probably just go with Muscle Toner instead of Muscle Replacement.
You could also take some infiltration cyberware like False Face and Voice Modulator to synergize with your social skills.
You may want some sort of initiative booster (maybe boosted reflexes).
Nothing is foolproof. Fools are so ingenious.

Woah, thread necro! The OP hasn't been here in four years.

AxDeath, I know you're new to the site but check the dates on the threads you reply to. I'm impressed that you dug deeply enough to find this one down in the dustbin. Also, welcome to the site! There are plenty of newer threads that will benefit from you contributions.
