My own somewhat paranoid PI (his partner's the mage not him) packs 3 guns on him at most times. A Warhawk in a concealed underarm holster, a Litefire70 on a gun-arm slide, and a Elan in a pouch under his fedora. Since they've got a murderous spirit of possession/Urban Legend by the name of Bloody Mary stalking them occasionally he's loath to carry less. With proper permits he can take the guns pretty much anywhere public and a bit of stealth skill along with the long coat and hidden holsters means he can keep them from being obvious to avoid scaring the straights.
Armor is the long-coat (trench coat natch), a fedora that kins of acts like a poor-man's helmet (1/1, trode band, and aformentioned hidden pouch), and the funderwear half-suit.
Being part of the tench coat brigade he's got plenty of pockets for other bits and bobs. Usually he's got his flashpack, jammer/white noise generator, non-linear junction detector (paranoid), autopicker, mag-card, motion sensor, zip-cuffs, respirator, medkit, and a couple pack of smokes.
If things get heavy he usually switches out the half-suit of FFBA and fedora for a full suit and helmet and grabs an Ares alpha and maybe a second Warhawk. Other than that things mostly stay the same.
