Did I read it right, On top of the normal metatype BP cost its an additional 65 BP to be a drake? I realize it's a dang good perk I just want to be sure I have the points right.

That is correct. A human drake would be 65 BP while an elf drake would be 95 BP.

You can fly and breathe fire.  That's ULTRA cool, and costs a pretty penny (equivalent to 325,000 nuyen).

Hmm.. minotaur dragon... Combat wise, all it'll be good for after you spend the BP and all will be in melee combat and being a bullet sponge, but your going to be one damned good bullet sponge. Max bod and strength of 15? That's plenty enough strength to go and rip weapons right off of their mounts, and do some damage vehicle wise. 9P on the claws, he could rip a hole in a citymaster truck and breaths fire into it to have metahuman flambe', cooked right in the can.

Could be even nastier if he pays the 15 karma and changes fire to napalm.

Something I saw over at Dumpshock, take the Class 2 surge and take granite shell. It will up your hardened Armor to 7/7. This is somthing I saw though, so I do not know if your GM will be cool with a surge drake?

For the moment this is a wishful thinking character. Just to see how wrong a PC can get! Truthfully I'd save it for a higher powered adventure. 400 Points just doesn't give the points needed to have a well rounded character. However the idea of roasting Chet Knutz on an open fire is... intresting!

In my Freak-Round I play a Fomori-Changeling-Drake-Adept (Common Drake). He has Celerity, Electrosense and Elongated Limbs, that makes him extra large 3 meters and gives him a Reach +2 (as drake +3), and his flying movement rate is 44/104 per Turn. As adept he has some useful Powers, like 2 points Mystic Armor (additional to the 4 points harded Mystic Armor as drake), Elemental Resistance (Electricity) and Heightened Concentration...
Btw: He has a day job as Bodyguard for the Rich and Famous, so I gave him Adrenaline Surge as Quality, too.

It's fun playing him, but this isn't someone for normal street level shadowrunning...

Looking forward to get Dragonspeech as Metamagic...
