So I'm planning on making a one on one campaign to play with my brother replicating the shadowrun game on Genesis, I have no problems with napping it except for maybe the wilderness, no problem setting up jhonsons, contacts, no problem with starting stats or runner starts, but I was curious as to how to go about stats for encountered enemies, both in and out of the matrix. Just can't see anyway to figure there stats of the enemies you face, that and the chance for random encounters. Mind you this is the first attempt at playing PNP shadowrun, I'm using gen2 and am going to change up allot of things with the freedom of the Genesis version

I would advice against random encounters. They were there for grind purposes and to extend the game playtime.

For stats it will depend mostly on how much your only player optimizes and even if they optimize a lot, I would tone it down. It's a single player against several odds. Core book has stats for gangs and police forces. That should be enough for a while. You can also obtain stats from people who made NPCs.
