So, I wanted to try and find a usable application of the Andrenaline Pump (that unresisted Stun at the end is N-A-S-T-Y) and came up with this Lab-experiment Berserker-style Troll Combat Monster. Used the Adrenaline Pump Rating 2 to aug-max several stats during combat and the Pain Editor and Trauma Damper to minimize the post-adrenal crash. Threw in some Symbiotes to speed recovery as much as possible afterward and here we are. Seems like it could be an interesting and fun character to play, however possibly short lived. Actually has a pretty good Composure to control his Combat Monster and Prejudiced tendencies, and a good WIL+INT to resist being incapacitated by Flashbacks.

I entitled it "Rent-A-Room", basically a high-density, low-cost housing complex unit. No frills but monitored access and a sturdy door.

Just noticed I need to add 20% to that Lifestyle yet for the Symbiotes. So it should be 1,320 /mo.

Overall he looks like a lot of fun to play. I consider short-lived more of a benefit than a waste, provided you're at least entertaining and useful to the group. Worst case scenario, he goes down swinging like a champ and you get to make an all-new character!

Heh, thanks, Bewilderbeast. In full disclosure, the Flashback trigger was inspired by someone else who had a genetically enhanced, super-soldier character (quite unlike this berserker otherwise though) - it was a Common Rating though, triggered by "Bright Lights". Didn't want the GM having me make checks anytime I went from, say, a bar into the mid-day sun or just driving down the street at night.

Anyway, Critter Spook and Impaired Attribute are both SURGE only Neg Qualities in Runner's Companion, p. 117 & 118.
