Interesting.  I'm not sure that I see the motivations lining up, but who knows for sure?

What happens if their plane of existence merges with our own? As we seem to be getting that crossing more and more.

As for motivations, yeah-I agree with you, information is too sparse so far. With the Sea Dragon involved and the shenanigans happening with Ares, it could go any which way.
