Decker's burn through edge like crazy hacking a host.  I wouldn't leave home without at least 3, if not 5.

If you have access to Kill Code the "Custom Decks" are hands down the best bang for the buck.

Decker with a Cyberarm is a classic for a reason, it works really well.

You've got a cyberdeck, you don't need multiple good Commlinks.  One Good Commlink, possibly to juggle the team PAN/Gear, and a bag of pre-paid disposables.

Deckers get a lot of mileage out of a cheap recon drones.  Flyspy or whatever.

Electronic Warefare spec, I like Sensors, YMMV.

Drugs.  Initiative boosters.

Not sure why Alphaware on the Organic cyberarm.  Seems expensive for someone with that much Essence to burn.

Since the matrix rules are so ticky tacky, how a GM decides to apply them makes an impact on how you're going to want to build your decker.  If he's going to hand waive most things and let you just roll Skill + Attribute a couple times and call it a hack, you really can focus on a lot more "secondary" capabilities.

OTOH, if he's going to be a stickler for all the details, then you will need to be too.  For example: Instinctive Hack from BTB is a mandatory buy at 2 karma (4 karma post-chargen) if the GM is going to make you spot everything before you can start hacking it.
RPG mechanics exist to give structure and consistency to the game world, true, but at the end of the day, you’re fighting dragons with algebra and random number generators.

Also, since your Datajack Plus gives you DNI, you don't need those AR gloves, unless you really want a backup to click on stuff in AR if someone bricks your Datajack +.
