Title: Mod points for a car landing/standard rack?
Post by: Shonuff on <04-28-16/1610:24>
If you wanted to remake Knightrider, and drop/retrieve a car on the road, how many mod points would that be? Or would just having an empty trailer suffice (obviously with checks)?

I'm inclined to say a ramp strong enough to allow a car in or out of a moving truck would be 2 or 3 points.

That sounds about right for a ramp. But would there be any "rack" cost?

And would that be a weapon or body mod? A ramp seems like it would be similar to entry and exits, so Body; but a drone rack is considered a weapon, and vehicles are equivalent to drones (granted, a ramp isn't a rack).

Yeah, a large drone rack would be needed to hold the car in place.

KISS

Empty trailer with a car loading ramp. Both drivers make Pilot Ground Craft tests.

This was one of the stunts Mythbusters did with minimal stunt driving training, both driving into and out of the trailer.
