I was planning to build a small array of sensor drones for my Hacker to extend my vision of what's going on (potentially for TacNet at some point).

What is the difference between Radar and Ultrasound and Millimeterwave?

Radar is bassicaly longer range, usefull for vehicle navigation purposes and targetting. Ultrasound is like echolocation, gives you wire-frame model of LOS field. UWB gives you even more...it gives you image of things that are blocked for ultrasound, because UWB is able to see through some materials (limit given by material x thickness of the obstacle)

All above is correct.

Keep in mind however that each counts as a separate channel for your tacnet, so using both can be to your advantage.

Each have their unique quirks too, for example: Ultrasound sensors can pick up other ultrasound emitters, and motion detectors.
