From Big D's will:
Quote
To Alamais, I leave the fruitcake we have exchanged every Christmas since 2020. Unlike you, I’m really dead.

For some strange reason I've been putting a whole lot of thought into this recently. Did Alamais ever collect this? Did he finally eat it? Is this what's behind his involvement in Geneva? If he didn't collect it is there a contingency in the Will to have it delivered to him? Has any of this been covered anywhere? If not I call dibs.

Considering how much Dragons like "Surprises" from each other, I bet it was a challenge between each other to deliver it using Shadowrunners.  But that's just a guess.

It hasn't been mentioned anywhere since Dragons of the Sixth World to my knowledge (and that was of someone who delivered it before Dunk died), but considering that Alamais is very much a "traditionalist" who didn't care for Dunkelzahn's "progressiveness." He considers Lofwyr's (attempted) domination of everything he touches, mainly through S-K, to be beneath the status of the Great for crying out loud.

So I doubt he bothered to show up to collect.

So, knowing Dunkie, a team of Shadowrunners delivered it.

Along the same line, any news about this?

I just find it amusing for Alamais to return to (or wake up in) his lair one day to see it sitting there and telling his minions it's time to pack up and go, only to find it waiting for him in his next lair.

@Mirikon

I wonder about that too. There are so many hooks in that book it's mind boggling. I personally think it's too help more children awaken so there is a nice number of magic users for when the Horrors come.

Before it could be administered (assuming it would have been) the vaccine was destroyed by Humanis in The Forever Drug.

About a third to a half of the bequests were followed through over the last fifteen years either intentionally by FASA, e.g. the Dragon Heart, or by random freelancers like me, e.g. having Morgan Leroy Hall collect the last of his bequest while attending Georgetown (Conspiracy Theories) or the Token winners assassinated in Jet Set. The rest were basically left for the players to do with as they wished.

That said, the DF isn't going anywhere, and I have very specific plans for it.

 :-\ doh forgot about that, my Shadowrun lore is slipping. Kinda a bummer that they got all of it.

As a side note, 666 the post of the beast! Blares Iron Maiden.

Sourcebook or novel?
And srsly...Humanis destroying all copies of the formula, like those in Dunki/Dacon Foundation vault. Irreversibly? Like...it can never be mixed again? Seems strange...
It would be nice to ask some of our fellow technomancers to  get it from Library...
