Title: Shadowrun Sixth World: Seattle Edition!
Post by: Stainless Steel Devil Rat on <09-15-21/2139:08>
It's out in the wild!

At least, in .pdf format.  Not sure if you can get a hard copy yet.

It says sold out in the shop :( I’m thinking it’s just not available yet. Unless you’re at GenCon.

They were indeed available at Gen Con, as was the new rigger book.
That means 6e is done now right?

Used to be the case yes, but then came SR5 with Better Than Bad, Kill Code, Street Lethal, Dark Terrors, Forbidden Arcana, Book of the Lost, Cutting Aces, Court of Shadows, Howling Shadows, Market Panic, and a whole bunch of smaller things like city-specific thingies and adventures.

Is there a PDF Street Date for Double Clutch yet?

You have a great mind!

I think the powers that be want physical copies on shelves the same time the pdf becomes available.  Seattle Edition was special in that it's essentially a reprint, so it went live in the wild, not just for Gen Con attendees.

Well, I wouldn’t really say it was truly live if the hard copy was only available to a small group of people for a short amount of time, lol. But I understand what you’re saying. I’m waiting for this book and Double Clutch, hoping beyond hope that they are available before the 3rd and 8th of October. I know that they won’t be, but I am hoping.

Why those dates? I’m getting paid to GM Shadowrun then! That is, if I can get a table with all the D&D5E people glutting the player market around here, ugh. Oh I am running 5E too, and those tables filled quickly, which kinda made me sad because I’d rather do SR any day.

If you can read German (or have a good translator), Double Clutch is available from Pegasus Spiele now on DriveThruRPG (https://www.pegasusdigital.de/product/371771/Shadowrun-Vollgas?filters=45804_0).

As a non-German speaker that’s a bit annoying :P

Google translate is surprisingly helpful. The phone app using the Instant Translate with the Camera function is extremely helpful. It's not perfect, but I put it around 85-95%.

One thing that didn't need translation:

I think I’ll be able to restrain myself until the English version is released… it’ll be a struggle, I’m looking forward to this one :)

Hah! awesome.  The other day when I was spitballing ideas for things riggers could bring to the table as a network master, and I thought 'well if the team all had jetpacks or something, the rigger could manage them remotely and have them fly in formation etc'.  looks like that might happen
