I got this Thursday afternoon shortly after I got to the con. I did read the Stackpole story as soon as I could. Yes, it is a Wolf story, no Raven, no Kid Stealth but you can't have everything. It was a good story and I can't wait for more! I"m about halfway through the collection, in fact, just finished Patrick Goodman's story. So far, there's only one story I haven't liked(no, not Patrick's, it was one of the good ones!). Based on what I've read so far, I'd recommend it for fans of Shadowrun. I love the idea of setting the stories in places we don't normally see in Shadowrun stories and scenarios.

I thought Wolf had CFD... does that mean that they were able to cure him??? The story about taking him down was pretty good but it concluded after he was subdued & the CFD had been hacked but they were going to try to go to the Metaplanes to retrieve his soul.

The story you're referring to just happened to have a character also named Wolf in it who has CFD. So far, there's been nothing official to say that the Wolf in that story by a different author is the same Wolf from Stackpole's Wolf & Raven series. Not to say that it can't be, just that no one beyond readers of that story have been saying anything about this . . . once again, so far.

Has this been spotted in the wild yet? I know there have been some controlled releases at cons, but has it been seen by a wider audience as of yet?

nothing at the local B&N as yet, but not surprising. :P
Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

Yeah, been watching--no sign of WoS, Borrowed Time, or Shaken at my local BNs.

Any word on the electronic release date?
If Tom Brady’s a Spike Baby, what does that make Brees and Rodgers?

Are there updates on when we can see this product in digital or PDF form?

Thanks,

Really? I thought it was pretty heavily implied that it was Wolf from Wolf and Raven in the short story in Data Trails. Its possible he was "cured" or that it is another shaman going by the handle Wolf. I think I'd much rather it be the same Wolf but cured of CFD. Makes things more interesting. But I haven't read this new Worlds of Shadows book, so I have no idea if they directly contradict each other.

Wolf is probably a fairly common street name.

As a note though, Stackpole's Wolf is not a Shaman.  He's an Adept.  Well, proto-adept, as he predates the adept rules being published.

In essence though, he's an Adept with a Totem (Something not technically possible till 5th ed ;)).

And AFAIK it' a different wolf in Data Trails.

*Ahem*

"Shamanic physical adepts use the normal rules for totems with one major exception: these adepts do not receive Sorcery or Conjuring benefits or penalties ... They must accept any applicable limitations ... and may receive any applicable bonuses ..." Awakenings, 110.

Shush you.  I meant they didn't really have any individual benefits and the like for being an Adept.  But yeah.  (I blame my cold.  Brains still a bit fuzzy.)

Confirmed that this book is AT the printers, but no ETA on when it is expected to hit distribution. For this interested in the digital version, that won't be available until the book has found it's way onto store shelves.

From FB:

Looks like we're getting pretty close on seeing this in shops. Jason H has confirmed that once the books are in general distribution, we'll be seeing the digital version offered.
