Whoa - those are fantastic!  The first one harkens back to the older black and white noir style of Shadowrun, but the second one is all kinds of bleeding-edge.  Very nice to see them both being represented, I can't wait to see the final product!

Stuff like metavariants (Satyr, Fomori), metasapients (pixies, centuars, sasquatches), Infected [maybe] (vampires, dznoo-noo-qua), Changelings (victims of SURGE), Drakes (a type of dracoform), Shapeshifters (Bear, Lion, etc.). We might even get AIs and E-ghosts, but probably not until we get Data Trails. Basically stuff from Running Wild and Runner's Companion in SR4.

Good looking art this time through, Catalyst.  I'm really excited to see this product.  If I'm not mistaken, this is the first release since the major overhaul of processes.  So far, it's looking good.

The meta variants, metaspecies etc  are the reason I'll buy this book

I miss the point based system from SR3. It was really easy to use. The prices didn't escalate so it was easy to explain as well
