Looking through core and Street Wyrd I don't see the old break down on restricting spirit summoning types based of tradition.

Does that mean mages can summon any spirit type at any time, regardless of tradition or did I miss it somewhere?

Yep, that's what it means*.  Unless you take the quality to restrict the kinds of spirits you can summon.

*not including bugs, bloods, shedim, or etc.
RPG mechanics exist to give structure and consistency to the game world, true, but at the end of the day, you’re fighting dragons with algebra and random number generators.

(I still think it would have been nice if spell formulae also could be spirit formulae.) Yeah, the restriction is gone. So you can summon all ten (? I forget if it's 9 now, I think still 10?) base types.
How am I not part of the forum?? O_O I am both active and angry!
