It mentions in the Threshold chart that it, "Note that all intervals assume needed parts and tools
are available." Is there anywhere else in the book where it discuss the costs of those parts? If a player wanted to build their own cyberdeck, how would they calculate the part cost? What about for vehicles, drones, or weapons?

Could see a low social skill High Logic Engineer that preferred to make his own toys rather than rely on contacts.

If you WANT the players to build their own tech from scratch, go nuts.

If you don't, then set design thresholds out of reach.
RPG mechanics exist to give structure and consistency to the game world, true, but at the end of the day, you’re fighting dragons with algebra and random number generators.
