I have noticed that there is no quiver entry in the core book. Does anyone have any information on this topic such as, "How much is it?" or "How many arrows does it hold?"

Officially sr5 has no rules about this. I'd recommend looking up rl quivers and use their values of capacity.
Please excuse my English as it is not my first language. Misunderstandings are inevitable and smell peachy enough to be forgiven. Thank you :)

10-20 arrows is a good bet, all in all, if you aren't willing to wait for a clarification.
Would you want to go into a place where the resident had a drum-fed shotgun and can see in the dark?

Sounds about right. Hard to see more then that and still be manageable (your talking about what? a 2.5 foot shaft with fletching and a tip which could be fairly large...)

just did a quiver search and clicked of the first store that came up.... most modern quivers are in the 3 to 6 arrow range!

Because most modern quivers are only used for professional target shooting, thus you only need a small amount.

OK seems even most hunting quivers are the same... part of the difficulty might be that high capacity quivers are banned in several states in the US, these things are usually in the 18-24 arrow range.

using that as guidance i see no problem with a high capacity quiver. Heck in the future the shafts may telescope so you can store them in a much smaller area and then they extend and fuse as fired

Typically, bow mounted quivers hold 3-7 arrows, and back/belt quivers hold 15-25. I have personally owned a back quiver that could hold up to 60 (crammed in, but usable), but I haven't seen anything like it in a couple of decades. Ah, 1970's design...
Anyway, I can see a back quiver that holds @ 50 arrows as reasonable for runners that use bows to have, probable cost would be @ 300 or so, imo. As a former NAA instructor, I do have some rl experience with archery.

hmmmm, there is the Rule that you can ready 1/2AGI small Items like Darts, throwing Knifes or Shuriken with one Ready Action.
I wonder if thats also true for Arrows ?
(I've seen some Videos of Lars Andersen, the Famous fast Archer who's using exactly this technique)

Makes sense to me that a skilled (4+ skill rating) archer could have 3 arrows in hand, one on the string and two ready to go, especially after watching Lars in that video.

Hehe, saw that myself recently. Although I could theoretically see using this to do a burst fire... the issue is what type of bows are the 'Bow's in Shadowrun. In the clip you see him using a recurve shortbow, designed for maximum power from minimal draw (just ask China how effective they are) however we don't really get any indication of the style of bows used in Shadowrun. Given the range and power of them, I'm guessing we're looking more at a Longbow style which takes longer to draw for a shot.

Well, with a modern compound bow, you can short draw it and get the rate of fire Lars demonstrates with a quite significant "punch" behind the arrow.

Shadowrun is using ultra Modern high Tech Compound Bows ( with a technology that is 65 Years in the Future ;) )
as the default Bow.
I could easily imagine ancient Bows that do less Damage (STR +1 or STR+0  or max STR 6 intsead of 8 )

me ,I like my Houserules streamlined so ,when I'm playing my Archer Char I'll ask my GM for AGI 1/2  (round up) readied Arrows (IIRC he's got AGI 5 so its 3 Arrows)

Since this is shadowrun and we might use some technical advances, I looked up Hawkeye's quiver from The Avengers.  I assume this kind of technology (select the arrow type you want by wireless controls on the bow and have the quiver assemble the correct arrow) is possible and there are multiple arrow types in Shadowrun (at least they were there in 4th edition).

This quiver packs two sets of 16 arrows, for 32 in total, which is a number I would allow as GM.

Ohhh that's an interesting idea, and yes Run and Gun added multiple arrow heads.
