Title: Mana Ebb in Salt Lake City
Post by: Hermes on <05-30-12/0004:27>
Okay, I already fixed this in my proposed campaign, but now I get to complain.

The Mana Ebb in the Salt Lake Valley does not make a whole lot of sense to me.  As far as I know, we aren't the world's capital for Atheism.  I think that's in Europe.  Can someone explain this to me?

What gave you the impression that the faith (or lack thereof) of the locals determined whether or not a mana ebb formed?

Careful, both of you, on this.

Mana ebbs are based more on the natural life energy of an area and the emotional background of that area. The ebb around Salt Lake is most likely because of the lake itself and the fact that a large, salt-saturated lake is not conducive to life around it (animals can't drink from it, so they move on, etc.)

That lake has been losing it's salinity.  But I'll accept that explanation.
