Aside from what the 6th world almanac and Shadows of North America provide, what insight is available about Austin, Texas, and what thoughts do y'all have about it? I've got a game going, and my players have to do some heavy legwork to do their job. I want to do my best to illustrate and immerse the Austin of '78 to them.

The 4th Ed book Spy Games had additional details on Austin, and if you can find it, the 1st Ed book Lone Star should probably be where/when to start.

Hmm, I was wondering, would the part south of Austin have been included in the parts of Texas transferred from Aztlan to PCC?

No, it wasn't. Austin is in eastern Texas, AFAIK. The parts that were transferred to PCC are further west.

Perhaps Patrick Goodman - or other Texan - will chime in on this at some point . . . .

No. PCC got everything north of the Rio Grande up to its existing eastern border.
