Keep in mind that SR4 is an abstract system.
For instance, any competent combat shooter would have the equivalent of several IPs...if the system was meant to be a simulation.
It's not.
It is a resolution engine, not a sim. So you can't look at RL examples and say "that person is an Adept!"
It's apples and oranges.
