Before I decide to roll soak., I"m going to roll the other two dice I get for dodging from combat sense. Let's see if I can't ace this.

Also, isn't a wide spread only -5 to Dodge, or are we counting all of the shotgun shells as separate attacks, each decreasing my dodge as if it was an FA Burst? I want to know for when Slobbertooth returns this favor in kind.

Also, doesn't a wide choke add a -3 DV modifier to the attack at all ranges? Even accounting for special weapons, I'm struggling to find a shotgun that can hit 13 DV with a -3 penalty.

Wide choke -5, burst with 6 shells -5 =-10

That thing is a custom drone - in essence a smart, reusable claymore mine.

And yes, it's a 14 -3(Wide choke) +2 Flechette = 13 DV weapon, thanks to the fact that it fires all rounds simultaneously like a frag grenade (Which would have been the alternative: A frag grenade in a parabolic reflector.

So be glad, it's a dodgeable attack

I figured flechette or Ex-Explosive, so that's not a surprise. My soak should be 26 (14 Armor + 7 Body + 5 flechette), and the extra hit on the dodge drops it down to 14 DV to soak.

Avg. soak: 8 2/3
Avg. +1 from edge dice
Avg. +1.44 from exploding dice.

I won't spend edge. At worst, I'm not going to die from the attack, just be really, really sore. I can also spend edge later to reroll 1s.
