Simple question, do race qualities transfer over to shapechange or critter form SPELL results?
So it’s a sunny Sunday afternoon in Seattle. Joe Vampire checks his fridge and realises he’s out of O-.
He decides to turn himself into a service monkey (via either the shapechange or critter form spell). Now a monkey he pops down to his local dealer for a few pints of O- and a BLT...
Question: do we have a smoking monkey, or is he fine as a monkey doesn’t have an allergic reaction to sunlight?
On the way back to his house, some Orc kid sees the little monkey, and decides he’s gong to have some fun with his baseball bat 😩
Question:Do we now have a limping monkey, or does he shake it off with regeneration and beat on the kid?
Personally I feel monkeys don’t get really bad suntan, and monkeys don’t regenerate. So he’s not toasted by the lovely Seattle sun, but when he is beat on with a bat he’s not regenerating. (Though as soon as he falls unconscious the spell drops, he’s a butt naked vampire who quickly heals the bat damage but starts getting a bad tan)
What are your opinions, and is their any RAW on this subject?
