Random point of interest: Adept and 'Ware are not mutually exclusive. You can be an Adept and still pick up, say, Pheromones. It just drops your Magic a bit.
The real issue with Adept faces is that you have you have a whole lot advancement competing for the same resource (Karma). A 'ware Face can pump all of his Karma into Negotiation and all of his Nuyen into combat stuff.
