Those might still fall under weapons laws in Canada. I'm almost sure they do in England.

EDIT: Huge irony. Guy is able to get a security clearance to meet the
*QUEEN*, but can't carry a sword (Not a knife, an
UNCONCEALABLE SWORD) in public.
