There is no cause for alarm. The Matrix is completely stable and fully understood by our technicians. Crimsondude's commlink was simply rendered momentarily offline due to .... inferior technology. It would be remiss of us to say exactly which company produced said commlink. Suffice it to say that the Matrix itself is working as intended and that there is no cause for alarm.

Haha, smell someone being force fed info. Or an E-ghost pretending to be Wak.

Agreed. This looks like a 'training wheels' edition, that you can use to introduce someone to the setting, and then shift over to something like 5E or 4E. Like how D&D 5E is best used as training wheels for D&D 3.X.

Turned in Toxshaman for ¥1 million/4 once.

In other unrelated news, Wakshaani Ltd., a wholly owned subsidy of the Horizon group, announce the sale of human bit gags for those gamers chomping at the bit to get their hands on more shadowrun products. Sales are expected to be very high according to internal sources.

OK, now we need to put a do not read at work warning on this thread! I am lucky no one was in the room when I burst out laughing at that picture ;D

So 5th Edition being my introduction to Shadowrun (well P&P anyway), thus making Market Panic my first Corporations sourcebook, what kind of content could be expected?

General information about each Corp as well as state of it, current issues and what to expect when infiltration their halls. And hooks, lots of hooks
If Tom Brady’s a Spike Baby, what does that make Brees and Rodgers?

You can count on finding out who the power players are of each corp, who's up, who's down, what each corp is doing (both public versions and shadow versions, tho the later are usually wrapped up in rumor as much,or more, than fact), some basics on how corps operate, what kinds of stuff each one does, and so on.

For example, the last time around, Ares talked about being "The gun corp", but also took time to note that this was only a small part of the overal package... AresSpace is one of the biggest off-planet corps, for instance, while Ares Global Entertainment was the #2 entertainment corp in the world before Horizon was born, Ares Consumer Products makes all kinds of stuff (Apple, for instance, is one small subsidiary of Ares), some talk about Knight Errant, and more. You had write-ups of Damien Knight, Arthur Vogel, and a few other power-players in the mix. Oh, and they might have mentioned bugs in there someplace. Maybe. Once or twice.

This time around, who knows? Who's still alive? WHo's dead? Heck, who's in the middle of dying? How's business doing? Are there any new products? (Ares was rolling out a small run of Amber Gel a year ago, was it a hit?) TONS of stuff to cover.

And that's just the Big Ten. If there still *are* ten Triple-A corps, that is.

You should find at least one plot hook on every page, and just getting to know how each corp operates can really help you out in terms of making future runs.

Plus, these Corp books are usually a lot of fun to read (as far as I'm concerned, anyway :) )
Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

Well yeah, corp shenanigans typically means work for us.  8)
Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?
