Jeremiah was born to the SINless family on the suburbs of Seattle. His father was an automotive mechanic, making his living on acquiring used cars and repairing them. While his mother worked as an data analyst to a small engineering company. The company itself was employeing SINless workers to avoid taxes and social costs. They made a decent living, Jeremiah learning both from a father and mother. To get to school, he had to legalize - at first they bought him a simple fake SIN but as he learned more and more on the matrix he upgraded it slowly. Once in school his potential grown. Jeremiah (or Jerry as friends use to call him) was a smart kid and fast learner. At some point he got hooked to the McGuyver serie from the end of the previous century, and idolized the main character.

Leaving preliminary school he went for mechanics technical. There he met Augmenteers - a school group of power, to belong, you had to have to be augmented. Having augments, meant having rich parents, being inside was a ticket for nicer girls, better parties, even when like Jeryr you were a social monster, shy and absolutely lacking any kind of charisma. So he 'arranged' some for himself. Arranged meant hacking into places he weren't supposed to be. To get more upgrades he kept practicing to. All went well until he got caught eventually and kicked out of school, social circles.

About that moment his health problem started - his organism, couldn't put up with that much augmentation and started to reject it. He also started to feel pains in the implant spots when even lightly bruised. Never well built, he lost even more weight. But he couldn't get rid of the upgrades, they were part of him as much as his own hand and leg, probably more. He become a his own doctor, finding on the matrix the drugs to cure himself, kill the pains, increase immunity. It got out slightly out of control.

Having the proffessional foundation in place he turned onto the street to make his living. Picked up onto rigging, never reaching the heights of proficiency in driving the vehicles, but nevertheless good enough to drive almost anything, and repair or upgrade even more. In the shadows hitting things matter, so he practiced, and went real good at that one.

He just finished implanting his new commlink, bought new flying toy, when a word on new job arrived.

Crom Cruach: 'Indestructable' Orkish Druid with an attitude and a riot shield.
Carrefour: Horse for Kalfou, the petro manifestation of Papa Legba, a voodoo summoner mystic social adept (Magicians/Speakers Way) who can't actually cast spells of his own.  Carrefour does a -lot- of drugs. (Built 400pb)
Tengu:  Yak-related Nippon pure sweet and simple technomancer build.  Okay hacker, poor compiler.  Has pistol, will travel.
Side-Step: Human Phys-Adept martial artist and non-lethal infiltration specialist.
Sanguine:  Vampire sniper/Type-O augment.  Part of the underground vampire domination conspiracy (custom group contact!).

Most of these characters are previous incarnations of games long ended or partially finished character sheets looking for a campaign to put them to work on.  I can easily post 3-5 times a day depending on thread activity and am moderately adept at SR rules and mechanics.

Wyrmtongue's 'apartment' in Seattle is better described as a palatial penthouse suite covering the top three floors of a high-rise in Bellevue. He has a team of five live-in maids that cater to his every whim, as well as making sure the place remains clean. The chief maid is Melissa Green, a former corporate manager for Mitsuhama in Seattle, she was forced into hiding during the technomancer scare in '71 due to internal rivals claiming she was a technomancer. In making her escape, she incurred several large debts to the Seoulpa Rings, debts she would have no way of paying, except as an 'escort'. Wyrmtongue purchased her and her debt from the Rings, and kept her as a mistress and head maid. Her sister works in Knight Errant's central evidence locker in Seattle. The other maids are in similar situations, essentially indentured servants (though they are paid) to their naga master.

The penthouse is lavishly furnished with designer furniture, much of it made custom to better suit a naga's unique physiology. The walls and floors are made from precious hardwoods, and there is rare artwork throughout the penthouse. In addition to a fully stocked bar, and room for guests to mingle, the pantry is well furnished, as one might expect, however Wyrmtongue's meals are primarily served live, and include such things as rabbits and other small animals, though on occasion he has a taste for more exotic fare. There is a study with a library full of rare books in both English and Japanese, many of them first editions. One area has been converted into a Shinto shrine, which Wyrmtongue uses as his magical lodge.

Grim Aurora gave a live performance at his birthday party here last year. He can often be found at the best clubs, including some of the most exclusive venues in Seattle. He has a standing table in Hell at Dante's, and often will just 'pop in' to the Eye of the Needle for a bite, without a reservation. Still, he's also fond of places catering to ork and troll customers, if only because the meals are sized in proportions that a large serpent like him can enjoy wrapping his mouth around. He often takes vacations to resorts around the world, just to see what's new.

The neighborhood is one of the nicer ones, with round-the-clock security that is polite and respectful (to residents). No spam zones, no 'undesirables' running about, and the paparazzi are kept a respectful distance away. Emergency crews respond within a minute, fully prepared for any problems, making this one of the safest (if most expensive) places to live in the sprawl.

Security is tight, though not quite as tight as it is in other areas of the neighborhood. There are drones, spirits, and metahuman patrols covering the area, as well as wards put up by Wyrmtongue himself. Though he doesn't know it, there is IC running on his system at all times, and a remote spider checking cameras and the matrix for intruders. He is quite capable of sleeping soundly at night.

This 'bunker' is located out in Puyallup, in a geothermal plant that went bust back during the first Crash. While the building looks like it is a wreck, the truth is that appearance is just on the outside. On the inside, the plant works, and is maintained by the Cutters, who utilize it as both an 'apartment' complex for those who don't wish to be found, as well as a staging area for some of their activities in the area. Wyrmtongue's bunker is spacious enough, and the power stays on, most of the time. The pantry, like with his penthouse, is very well stocked, and he often supplements what is found there with exotic meats (or with the devil rats that keep trying to infest the place). There's also a tunnel heading out of this bunker, barely large enough for Wyrmtongue to slither through with his gear, which leads to a concealed exit next to a local Stuffer Shack's parking lot.

As far as creature comforts go, this place isn't on the level of his penthouse. The furniture is mass-produced, but well made. Household drones take care of the cleaning and housework. Oh, and the AR paint is still reasonably fresh, making for an enjoyable viewing experience. Speaking of which, there is a good selection of shows and movies to watch on the AR or trid here, and he's got season tickets to the local Urban Brawl team's matches waiting on him here.

Of course, the neighborhood is far worse than his other residence. Police presence is minimal, and walking down the street can be dangerous. Wyrmtongue has an understanding with the Cutters that makes it so he can move around freely in the area without worry, and a couple examples of his magical abilities were enough to keep most people from trying to harm him. The only real threat to him in the area is the nest of feral ghouls living in the sewers. And they prefer the easier targets that aren't awakened.

Security in the area is handled by the Cutters, and includes metahuman, drone, and spirit patrols, as well as plenty of cameras, and good locks on the doors. There's also a couple hellhounds acting as guards, but that's mainly for a deterrent threat. While the security is actually for Cutters operations, and not Wyrmtongue's benefit, keeping people from causing trouble in the area fits their goals, which means Wyrmtongue is perfectly happy to accept the security measures in place.

Description:
Wyrmtongue is an eleven meter long serpent, with white scale, and red eyes. His scales glow softly with a cold, blue-white light in the darkness, allowing one with low-light vision to see as though it was daylight.  His fangs are each a good four inches long, and he could swallow an ork whole. He has a pair of goggles with special straps to keep them on his head, as well as a simrig and commlink that allows him to access the virtual world, even if he doesn't know much about technology. Also hanging from his pack are several things that look like good luck charms. A specially modified ballistic mask is strapped to his head, giving him some protection, while not interfering with his vision or attack abilities.

== Background ==
Smith grew up as the only son of a career Tir military Senior NCO (Command Sgt. Major). Smith's latent magical abilities were discovered during his teeage years and he was groomed to become a member of the Tir military from relatively young age by his father and his magical trainers. He became a Non-commissioned Officer, eventually becoming a team leader (Staff Sgt.)., even though was offered a position as a comimssioned officer because of his magical abilities out of respect for his father. Smith was an armorer and weapons specialist for the Tir border patrol. During this time he became increasingly disillusioned with the Tir military politics and cronyism. This disillusionment culminated in his assault on his, politically well connected, platoon leader after the platoon leader led the platoon into an obvious and avoidable ambush on the Tir border. He was allowed to leave service under honorable conditions because his exemplary service record up to that time and his father called in favors with friends in the military. The platoon leaders family also didn't want a record their child's incompetence and embarrassment to become part of the official record, but the platoon leader made it clear he was not done with Smith. Smith was "asked" as a condition of his "clean" exit from service to leave Tir and so the friends and family of his (former) platoon leader wouldn't be able to retaliate against him outside of official channels for embarrassing his former platoon leader, the scion of a power Tir family. Smith left Tir under a false SIN to avoid notice and recently traveled to Seattle to work as a mercenary/shadow runner until the family of his former platoon leader are no longer in a position to retaliate against Smith.

Smith is a well adjusted individual, a product of an essentially middle class upbringing. He values quiet competence, professionalism and loyalty to the team and mission.

DarkAngel is a skilled hacker who took up residence in Seattle sometime in the early 2060s. A former otaku, she has since developed traits as a Technomancer.

To Faust, however, the connection goes deeper. DarkAngel used to be known as Jezzibel, and she was one of Deus's otaku, one of the Banded. She still bears the five bands on her arm that denoted her status. During the Shutdown, Faust was part of Jezzibel's security detail at one point. Later, DarkAngel and Faust found eachother in the Shadows, and since then have remained close, more as a mutual support than anything else, though they have been lovers, at times.

Doc Mengle (2C/1L) - Street Doc
Doc Mengle is an insane street doc, who would turn his own mother into a lab rat. The majority of his experience in medicine came during his time in the SCIRE, where he helped the AI Deus conduct his experiments, as one of the Green banded. Still, he does good work, and can be persuaded to give you a discount in return for test subjects. At the very least, you can always rest assured that he won't 'accidentally' kill you and sell your body to Tamanous.

Redeemer (2C/3L) - Shaman
Redeemer is a former Renraku Security Mage, and a survivor of the arcology shutdown. He does not talk about his time in the arcology to anyone who was not there. Unlike many shamans, Redeemer has cybereyes and a datajack. He is very interested in the possibilities of finding technology that can work with and enhance magic.

Redeemer was a Red Samurai Mage, and a member of the Banded, with two bands. Faust was his commander, and was on his squad when he broke out of the SCIRE. He is also the only other member of his squad who is still alive. The two have remained close since the SCIRE was retaken, in part because they both had to come to terms with their actions, and because there were those who would eagerly see them killed for what they had done.

Black Jack Stevens (2C/2L) - Fixer
Black Jack Stevens is a fixer working the Seattle scene. He has connections with the Finnigan family of the Seattle Mafia.


Background:
According to surviving records from Renraku America, the man now known as Faust
was once the son of a pair of scientists in a Renraku facility outside Denver.
However, due to the fact that the hard copy of those records were stored in the
SCIRE facility, and the digital copies were either lost or corrupted during
Crash 2.0, those records are, at best, incomplete.

What is known about Faust is that there is a man with his picture and biometrics
on file, and his birth date was 3/20/2034. In 2050, he joined Renraku America as
a security officer, and began moving up the ranks as he grew in experience. In
2055, he was inducted into the elite Red Samurai division of the Renraku
guardsmen.

The man who would be Faust was on duty on December 19, 2059, as the SCIRE
facility was put into shutdown mode. The method of his capture is not recorded
in the official logs. What follows is based on Faust's own memories. Due to the
psychotropic drugs and IC he was subjected to, the memories of the events during
the Shutdown should be considered suspect, at best.

"I remember waking up, seeing the world through new eyes. I hadn't gotten
implants before that day, and I was weak from the surgery. There was a voice, a
whisper running through my head. I could hear it, but I didn't understand."

"I was led to the bath. I was still weak, and the voice was there. I couldn't
resist. The bath... was strange. More than water in it, I think. And then they
hooked a cord into my dataport."

make me stronger."

"I remembered Chrissy, my girl on the outside. She was drunk again, kicked me
awake. Threatened to tell my boss about how I'd screwed his daughter. I hated
her. I beat her, choked her. It felt good. And the voice told me that Deus would
give me this kind of power."

"I remembered Steven. We were on the same squad. Red Samurai. The elite. He was
naked, and the Chosen tore at his flesh. They raped him and cut him and made him
feed on his own flesh. And then, sobbing, he begged for death, but they would
not let him die. I hated him for his weakness. And the voice told me that this
is what happened to those who refused the power of Deus."

trust the voice. And Lord Deus was there, as I kneeled before him, pledging
myself to him. I would serve. And he spoke to me! He told me that the man I had
been was dead. Now, and for forever, I would have a new name. Faust."

knew then that I was strong. That I could do anything, would do anything, if it

were the zealots, to serve in the realm of the Lord, but otherwise useless. The
green-eyes were the grunts, who moved the cogs, and did the work beneath notice
of their betters. It was the Blue-eyed servants who were superior. We were the
best of both Green and White, with none of their flaws. We retained our sanity,
unlike the Whites, who were driven mad by close contact with the Lord, and we
were strong, unlike the Greens, who existed only to further the Lord's designs.
We were the arbiters. Without us, none of this would be possible."

"I set to guarding the SCIRE, the citadel of Deus, with renewed fervor. No enemy
would breach these walls, while I defended them. My new squad would often go
hunting through the lower levels, searching for the Resistance fighters that
would try to undermine the Lord's will."

"It was in the final months of the standoff, when my squad was tasked with
breaking out of the SCIRE, to do a service for Deus on the outside. The Mage
cast his illusion, and we charged out, in full armor. We killed enough of the
guards surrounding the SCIRE, and escaped."

"We succeeded in our task, and were given orders to go to ground. Lord Deus did
not speak to us again. Later, we learned (as they all did) that the Lord had
found a way to escape the SCIRE by the Network."

nightmare. The things I had done, the things I had helped do, the things that I
had not worked to stop, they all began to weigh on my mind. I went insane for a

Jeremy Benson was born SINless in an Ork Ghetto on the outskirts of Redmond to a family that, despite their love for each other, truly could not afford a child. Ethan stayed out of the way, trying to cause as little fuss about himself as possible while his family struggled around him to survive. Life passed as any other kid’s passed by him, his mother and father working to support him as he pushed himself hard in school in an attempt to make them proud and lessen their burden in any way he could.

At the age of fourteen Ethan found he had the interesting ability to see beyond what others could see and in fact proceeded to interact with astral forms he found in hopes of finding out the secret to the beautiful world he had been allowed into. He found tales of wonderful people who turned summoning into an art form and adventures with spirits that seemed just too surreal.

At nineteen he proceeded to apply for a SIN under the name Ethan Rayne, his desire being to enter a university to further his research and studies into the arcane alongside other such informed individuals that might be able to assist or help to refine ideas that he had yet to begin truly understanding. After a time his acceptance into the UCAS was confirmed but despite his best efforts and test scores he could not gain access to the university’s campus or classes.

With mounting debt in his pocket after borrowing from the Triads, he knew that they would expect favors on the mystic side of things if he could not complete courses and find a job to pay them back what he owed. With his talents in hand, he found the shadows willing to accept another hermetic magician with open arms. He found that the money he made there could not only pay off his debts, but continue his own private research without all that dreadful red tape of the universities.

Laura was born in 2040 in Charleston, South Carolina, CAS.  Her parents had an upscale restaurant, catering to the rich and famous of the CAS.  Her childhood was quite idyllic and she was send to a private school, just like her brother.  But while he was more interested in economics, she quickly found the matrix more to her liking, often staying up very late to play games and such.  She was very intelligent and curious and she went through school without a problem, on the school level that is.  There were a couple of children of humanis members at school and as she had very good results and also was prettier than most of the humans, they harassed her often.  Some teachers, also members of humanis, turned a blind eye.  But she got her revenge when she found the passwords of one of the leaders of the little group.  Using his account, she attempted to hack into the school node to get to the exam questions.  It didn't work, but she managed to hide her tracks very well and the alleged hacker was kicked out of school.  Without a leader the group left her alone and she managed to graduate with honours.

After high school she started at Detroit University in the UCAS.  At university she had fewer problems with bigotry, but more with her classes.  While she was still doing well, she had to gone through high school without doing much, and at university she had to study a lot more, although she still had the advantage of remembering almost everything she had read once.  But her grades stayed up and everybody saw her already with PhD behind her name.  In her free time she continued to program her own things.  It was at university that she got her cybereyes, and on a whim she made them completely white to match her hair (something that ran in her family).

Detroit University was controlled by Ares, who had their HQ in that city.  A couple of weeks after she had done her final exams, a representative of one of their many subsidiaries offered her a job.  It involved some programming in one of their R&D departments.  Since university life started to pale and she had always liked new things, she decided to accept.  With that acceptance she started her corporate life, a life that would be spend for more than 90% in the matrix, often in full VR (cold sim only), so she got a datajack and simsense module.  It was here that she got her first taste of shadowrunners when one night the facility was attacked, both in VR and in the meat.  She later understood that whoever the team was, they hadn't done their homework as they didn't know that the facility right next to it was also part of Ares and they had a firewatch team visiting to pick up some new gadgets.  As the team thought the attackers were after the new stuff, they defended in the typical Ares firewatch team way (which is to say, attack and shoot everything until it didn't move anymore).  As Laura and her team were doing overtime to get back on the timelines, they were mostly in the facility and helped defending against the VR attacks.  While individually they were no match in cybercombat against a 'professional' hacker, together they could simply overwhelm him or at least keep him of the juicy files until help arrived.  While two people had to go to hospital with brain damage, they were proud they had managed to hold them off.  In order for this to not happen again, Laura started to follow some extra courses so she could defend herself better in cyberspace.  The company approved and in 2063 she was promoted to security supervisor.

But the 'idyllic' corp life came to a dead halt in 2064.  Laura had logged in from home to do some last minute coding when all of a sudden she was cut off from her meat body.  Unfortunately due to the crash, her persona also lost its ID data and the black IC on the company node thought she was an intruder and attacked.  She tried to crash the attacker, but the disorientation of the sudden cut-off was too much and she only just managed to flee.  This made her even more lost and even today, she has quite a bit of fear from black IC.  Her consciousness was wandering in the matrix, trying to find her body back, but whole sections of the matrix had simply gone missing for - at that time - no good reason.  She was getting even more frightened when she encountered an entity, probably a ghost of the machine (she had heard stories about them).  This entity was in fact very helpful and guided her back to her body, which by this time was moved to a local hospital.  There she came by, after a week in coma.  Again she was investigated and she had gotten some nerve damage and a fear for black IC.  As she had some money, she decided to get some extra cyberwear to help with the nerve damage.  The company made it possible for her to get alphaware and also helped with the licences ‘for medical reason’.  The company send everybody who had been trapped in the matrix to a psychiatrist, which helped against her fear.  While she still didn't like black IC, at least she could get back into the matrix.

A couple of months after she got the cyber, her own nerves started to come back as well.  The doctors thought it was the cyber who had pushed the nerves into action again.  Whatever it was, she now had both.  She had just gotten this good news from the doctors when Ares decided to downsize the department she was working in, as their work had become less useful with the new wireless matrix.  For a couple of months it was hard, as she was evicted from her corporate apartment and finding a new place to live wasn't easy for someone without a salary.

But she refused to give up and soon she started doing minor matrix jobs for a smuggling ring.  It became quickly clear that she was very gifted in finding those places were certain supplies were abundant and other places were the same things were scarce or illegal.  This allowed the smugglers to make more money so they started to give her more responsibility (and more money, which she used to buy upgrades to her commlink and programs).  As she still had her official SIN, she could move in circles most smugglers could not, and so she also started doing some of the negotiations.  Her SURGE abilities helped her with this, as did her nearly perfect memory.  People always liked it when you recognised them, even if you had met them only once.  As she had to go with the crews more and more, they taught her to fly the T-birds they used, so she could also be useful in flight besides running matrix overwatch.

But again her luck was not long lived.  In the beginning of 2071, a snitch in the organisation spilled the beans and the whole group was taken out.  As she had just left with a crew to bring stuff into Seattle, she wasn't present when the group was attacked.  She and her crew were one of the few left over from a group of almost 200 people and as she was one of the more distinctive members, she thought it wise to lay low for a bit.  While the rest of the crew went in search for other people who had escaped in order to reform the group, she decided to stay in Seattle and live of the money she had put aside.  She did some matrix jobs from time to time, more out of boredom than anything else, while she continued to upgrade her programs herself, but after a while the money started to run out and she had to look for other work, but she decided not to go back to smuggling for now.

Personality/background
Emmanuel is a son a houngan and a mambo. He was practitioning voodoo doctor in the haitian village, until local goverment decided his practices illegal. As a matter of fact, Emmanuel's actions there weren't legal. Revered among the villagers, he turned the willing faithfull into possessed zombies, in their own form of better then life. While possessed they were stronger, faster, more powerful. Some of them were lost in the process as they rebelled against their corporate masters.

Emmanuel performed a large set of typical houngan duties - inciting loves, divining futer, judging the offenders and preaching voodoo gods. Feared, revered and eventually smuggled out when charged of murder and possession. The smuggling out became a necessity after an Saeder-Krup action. The action was retaliatory result of Caribbean Pirates raid, that looted S-K's transport. Some of the pirates were recruited on Haiti, and some of them were possessed serviteurs. The S-K strike teams expected magical opposition so they brought multiple wage mages. They specialized in fire magic, brought many spirits. His parents, Emmanuel and several other fielded an ambush. The spirits were banished, but not allowed to dispel. Resummoned again they were turned against remaining spirits, their previous masters, the mundane soldiers, and finally against themselves, until all were destroyed. At first, nothing was perceptible, but then it became obvious that despite his escape he remained wanted by S-K in the mundane realm and by the fire spirits in the astral.       

He arrived at the shadow scene after few weeks of travel. His nickname taken from the god he preached - Ghede the Undertaker. When asked for what he can do his reply is usually that he take care of things. So he stayed a Caretaker

Average looking male, with average looking facial features. The only thing odd you may find about him is that he looks like some corp wageslave or middle management in the 2000's since he wears a suit and fedora. He has no noticable augmentations, but he does tend to smoke every now and then.

== Background ==
Ryan Anders began his life as a SINless single child in The Pit of NYC. Things were harsh, but family stuck together to survive. Ryan never found out what his parents did to keep food on the table, but one day the squatter apartment was ransacked by gangers and his parents were shot as he hid in the hidden compartment in the wall where his parents stored their credsticks. Once he was found by NYPD, he was issued a SIN and given to his aunt, the sister of his mother. He never really cared much for her, and found himself joining gangs despite his childhood trauma. Once he turned 18, he left his aunts and stuck out on his own.

He started his career as a bookie in the Bronx of NYC, pulling in pots for several gangs. When people finally started figuring out he was playing all sides, he split for Queens and laundered the money into a few low budget Simsense films under the guise of an executive producer. Once the heat was over, a few of the films actually turned a profit. Two coyote crosses to get to Denver, then another to Seattle, he tried to one-up himself one last time as he started running jobs as a transporter. A few years of side jobs and practice, he finally has some decent skill to compete in the shadows as a runner.

== Concept ==
A transporter-esqe type character. He's got a strong personality, though little charm. Thinks that not getting hit at all is better than being able to take the blows. Being through a lot of odd events during his childhood makes him odd and unstable at times, but he hasn't had a nevervous breakdown in his life.

Availability: Almost any time. I'm at home a lot, and have computer access when I am. Never really played in a pbp game before, but willing to learn. Oh, I'm EST if that matters.

Preferred archtype: I like street sammies and muscle, it just seems to be what I gravitate to. Cybered or Awakened. I'm willing to try new things.

Character: Open for debate. What would fit in your game? What do you need? I don't mind adjusting to fit my team.

Creation rules: I prefer 400bp with access to the existing books, but as mentioned above I'm pretty flexible. I tend to gravitate towards games that are more "street level" then anything else, too big and I lose my sense of where I fit into a game.

Ellie has the figure of an eleven year old girl, much more muscular though. But it doesn't make her bulkier, cause she has no bodyfat at all and her skin is taut over bone and wiry muscle. Pale skin, slightly glossy, which has an almost sickening sweet odor to it. Normaly she would be bold, but she is constantly wearing a wig with natural hair on her head to better blend into society. With her pointy ears, she might pass of as a little skinny elven girl, assuming that the rest of her body is covered.

Mental:
Ellie is a goblin and her development and experience during the infection left their marks. Ellie shows big regrets about her past development. Especially about the fate of her parents. She misses them and thinking back makes her sad. She knows, its not really her fault, but sometimes its too easy to blame the infection. "Vrykolakiviridae", a clean medical term, cause of so many troubles. Finishing only Junior High when she got infected and her parents kept her home, she lacks in general education. And being mostly alone afterwards left her social skills crude. She learned to live with her difficult situation and it made her mentally resistant. Over time she cheered up, but kept her inherently cruel and sadistic traits.[/spoiler]

Over time Ellies life became less cruel, hunting got rare. Moiras introduction to her fellow wicca circle gave Ellie even some kind of social life and it felt good.

Getting her emotions and hunger under control, Josh had enough trust to offer her to work together with other people from now on. Mostly for recon or magical support. Ellie is 21 now, she learned a lot about the shadow community and their business already [...]

Concept
[spoiler]Feeding:
Moira, her ghoul friend, supplies her with her special dietary requirements, no questions asked. When she is not around home, and for draining essence, she tries to stay somehow humane by feeding of the weak and the lame, criminals and the scum of the society, of which she believes that they deserve it.

Clothes:
When on the road, she is always wearing her SecureTech parts and her form-fitting full-body suit to totally cover her looks. Hood over wig, the wild hair partly covering her thin skeletal faces. Above she wears casual street clothes with her goggles hanging around her neck, put on only if needed. On runs she wears a thick armor jacket over her clothes.

Magic:
Ellies magic developed out of her survival instinct. Living on the street, where people seeing her shoot first.. and then shoot again, she met Spider. She was teaching Ellie the detection and illusion spells necessary to avoid people. And sometimes to incapacitate them, to feed on them. From her she learned to be cautious and to plan ahead. Moira, also magically active, introduced her to some wicca friends following the cult of the Goddess, though more urban bound.

Technology:
Not too comfortable with electronics, she learned soon though about the usefulness of commlinks and is always reachable through it. Installed by a fellow runner some time ago. Knowing that wireless is quite dangeress, most of her gadgets work over skinlink. Even though she wears a trodenet under her wigs she never uses VR as it makes her dizzy. But she likes the comfort of being able to control the AR without using her hands, reducing her trodes to a oneway connection and having her screens displayed in her goggles.

Work:
Ellie likes what she is doing, its a challenge every time and doesn't get boring. Life itself is dangerous already for her and she would never be able to get a "normal" job. Spice it up a little, earn some coin and try to enjoy little things in life. She has well developed detection magic for surveillance, is able to disable her enemies and uses her illusion spells to escape. Observe, hit, run. That's her specialty.[/spoiler]

Personality/Background:

An ex-Lone Star Cover-Ops Field Hacker, Darius know the ins and outs of the Lone Star Corporation. Growing up in a poor neighborhood in Los Angeles, Darius caught on quick to his surroundings and became extremely street-smart. Living in such a rough setting also gave way to his skills, the most prominent being ability to blend in and his free-running skills. Certain events forced him to go "undercover" for Lone Star, but that will eventually lead to his fallout with the Agency. His specializations in hacking, reconnaissance, and covert operations make him an decent Shadowrunner.

 

He was raised well despite his rough surroundings, his father being a Lone Star patrol officer and his mother a high school teacher. His parents kept him from delving into drugs, street gangs and what ever would turn a young African-American into a product of his environment. He developed a knack for hacking while hanging amongst his friends, it was a popular thing during his teen years. With his skills in hacking, he would not abused his skills unless it was absolutely necessary, out of pure fear that his father would be apocalyptically angry. Darius has a strong sense of justice from which he probably inherited from his father, which is most likely due to the activeness of Lone Star in his life. Eventually, the dangerous aspects of being a Lone Star officer finally catches up to Darius's father, finally being gunned down in a vicious shootout in the dark alleys of LA while saving a young, orphaned Elf girl from a pack of corrupt Shadowrunners. Darius would then focus his attention on his interest for Lone Star, to honor his father. He's worked various divisions of Lone Star. Starting from the Divison of Patrol, working the streets and making his way up the incredibly rigorous ladder. Eventually he would find himself working in GridSec (Division of Matrix Security), TacDiv (Division of Special Tactics) and the Division of Investigation.

 Despite having no augmentations or cyberware, Darius is a very capable hand-to-hand fighter, his Adept powers coming into full bloom when fighting. They are the source of his athletic skills, his free-running ability, his martial arts, his very life. Another uncanny ability Darius has is his ability to blend into the crowd almost instantly, which comes in great use when being chased into a crowd or public place.
