Black Trench-Coat answer: If you've modded your guns to L3 Ceramic parts and the like, two longarms and a sidearm, five to ten grenades, and four clips.
Pink Mohawk answer: Forget armor, forget pants! Strap yourself down with a few layers of ammo belts, so that once you're out of ammo, everyone's too busy staring at your pearly ass to fire - should give you about two, three thousand shots with that HMG. Have an Assault Canon strapped to your back, alongside those two Battle Rifles, and about ten heavy Pistols dangling here and there for decoration. Grenades? Another layer of clothing! Fifty should do you, plus a clip or two for that Grenade Launcher you've got strapped to your left leg.
That's for a human. Dwarves can probably manage another SMG or smaller in their beard, (Not even kidding here), but if you're going Mohawk, that beard is probably packing a broken-down HMG. Elves and humans can carry similar loadouts, but the ladies can slip a holdout between their breasts, and anyone trying to look too hard is deserving of a good smack to the face. Orks are larger than humans, but not by enough to significantly change the upper limits.
Trolls? Picture it, omae.

There's no hard and fast rules regarding item weight or anything, but for everyday carries you should always be using something concealable. Katana and assault rifles are not concealable. Knives and pistols are, so get yourself a Survival Knife and you should be good withthat and the Predator for the day to day, leaving the others for when you're loading up for a job.

Katana not concealable? Tell that to Connor McLeod. :P

One of the reasons my day-to-day armor is always a lined coat.

You and me both, man.

It's glorious!
The answer really does depend on what type of game you are running. Also different armors give bonuses for concealment, such as the synergist line. The jacket and longcoat have a concealable holster sown into it for a -2 and the longcoat adds another -2 on top of that.

Given a few centuries, I suppose you could get a pretty ridiculous Palming pool.

Here's some images that give you an example on how it looks when you're carrying several things, as well as include fair amounts (2x2 spare clips, 8 spare microgrenades, knive, medkits, pistol, assault rifle, etc):

Is that your art? It's pretty.
-
Nope, not mine. Someone included one of them in the art topic once, so I stored them and ran a reverse image search later to find them again. They're nice examples on what it basically looks like to wear a lot of stuff.
-
I'm curious about people's opinions on them. Do you feel that's an accurate representation of normal people? Or would it be more of a light military setup? My first thought about the girl is "She's military." The guy seems like a normal guy, except for the stuff strapped too his legs.
-
It's pretty.
Seconded!
And on the topic: nothing beats an empirical analysis. The other day a friend of mine tried to show me how his character hides 3 assault rifles on his person. It was hilarious. A bottle of vodka hastened the experiment.
-
It's listed as Military Armor on the page, I'd label it Light. It's not gear I'd expect outside a Mercenary, soldier or heavily armed Private Security on the terrain of a Luxury Mansion.
Leave out a few straps and the helmet, put the medkit and tools in a backpack, have the pads underneath your clothing and it's an Armor Vest on top of Form-Fitting Half-Body and a few SecureTech pads where someone who pays attention can see you got a few spare clips with you.

I beg to differ on the AR.
Barrel reduction, folding/powered stock, long coat.
One of my characters has a heavily modified M-23 w/ Chameleon Coating that has the same Concealment rating as a Hold-Out.
(Of course, the dude next to me gets away with an unmodded AK-97 because he doesn't know any better...*sigh*)

Did you give it a belt-feed too? ;D

"Mungo, what in Ghost's name is THAT?" "Dis iz muh MastaKee." "Who gave Mungo a PAC?" *Everyone points fingers at each other, Mungo points at himself*
-
"Mungo just goez to teh amazons dot comz and use his leet haxor skills to order wholesalerz price"
-
Actually, Mungo's an even cheaper bastard and buys stuff in Winnipeg. :P
-
Mungo knows guys on the Amazon who gets him his stuff.
-
Amazon is one of Mungo's money laundering schemes.
-
Mungo is behind the Amazonian resistance, which is funded by Amazon, which he launders his money with.

You are using the Combat Load Vest, Smart Pack and Pouch System from Arsenal Pg 62, right?
That is about what the lady in Michael's pic is wearing to support all of thar MilSpec Gear.
-
My Elven PI mage, who just became a Drake (I don't even know how to handle that), carries a Warhawk, autopicker, maglock keycard and some spy gear while working.
If he needs his mono-sword, he usually turns it invisible, since his Lined Coat isn't going conceal it at all.
-
My own somewhat paranoid PI (his partner's the mage not him) packs 3 guns on him at most times. A Warhawk in a concealed underarm holster, a Litefire70 on a gun-arm slide, and a Elan in a pouch under his fedora. Since they've got a murderous spirit of possession/Urban Legend by the name of Bloody Mary stalking them occasionally he's loath to carry less. With proper permits he can take the guns pretty much anywhere public and a bit of stealth skill along with the long coat and hidden holsters means he can keep them from being obvious to avoid scaring the straights.
Armor is the long-coat (trench coat natch), a fedora that kins of acts like a poor-man's helmet (1/1, trode band, and aformentioned hidden pouch), and the funderwear half-suit.
Being part of the tench coat brigade he's got plenty of pockets for other bits and bobs. Usually he's got his flashpack, jammer/white noise generator, non-linear junction detector (paranoid), autopicker, mag-card, motion sensor, zip-cuffs, respirator, medkit, and a couple pack of smokes.
If things get heavy he usually switches out the half-suit of FFBA and fedora for a full suit and helmet and grabs an Ares alpha and maybe a second Warhawk. Other than that things mostly stay the same.
