Fragmented bugs? As is wasps and roaches didn't get along? Piffle! One big ol' unified bugfront, yupyup.
In the Universal Brotherhood book, there was an example of different hives going to war, and Man-of-Many-Names states that this was usual.
I suppose what I mean is, although the bugs have parallel aims & goals, without the UB there's been more competition. The section about bugs in Conspiracy Theories suggested, to me, a 'network' devoted to un-menacing the bugs - which could be (only could!) considered a UB 2.0 - doing without the chapter houses etc.
