So this is my 1st attempt @ a SR5 character.  I am trying for optimized not munkin, please note where I might be to munkinee.  Plus if there is any glaring problems w/build, I would like feedback. I only have the CRB, he is Hermetic.
Concept:
In his last semester, of college, he started to work for a street doc.  Hoping to get valuable experience, for Doc Wagon. Wanting to shed his mathlete, image, he became enamored w/ the occasional gritty shadowrunner, and is trying to make inroads, to that lifestyle instead. A little naïve about how a shadowrunner is, he has become a cliché.

Biggest problem i am seeing, is you are misunderstanding sustaining foci in this edition, for any Improved stat spell, you need to have a minimum force of the current stat. So WP would be a force 5 sustaining foci, or 5 ranks of focused concentration.

However, Increase Reflexes, Armor and Combat Sense can be done through Force 1 Foci with the help of reagents, but you will lose the spell in any background count.

Also, Sustaining Foci must have a type, each can only support 1 spell type.

If you use reagents to push a spell higher, is it still able to be stored on an f1 focus?

Yes, you only increase/decrease the limit, the Force doesn't change and that's all that matters. I got it mentioned in my Easily Missed Rules topic by the way.

Similarily, for spells that only care about the hits, a Force loss from a Background Count won't matter UNLESS the Force gets reduced to zero and the spell poofs.

If the Force of a spell matters for its effect, however, that will change. Though I personally do not believe an Increase Attribute spell would disappear at that point, since it's the point of casting where it has to be strong enough to take hold.

Spaced out types of foci. I have edited OP.  I am unaware of how background count works and when I find game, it will be one of my questions on what I can expect.  The foci are meant for armor, and increase reflexes.

Background Count is a GM tool to help balance out Mages, especially ones using Force 1 Sustaining Foci with Reagents. If you go to the bad sides of town, you'll start running into minor background counts. For example, the Chicago Containment Zone and the really-bad parts of the Redmond Barrens are BC 2, while the Narrows vary from 0 to 3. Usually you won't run in such areas, but violent incidents and areas of the really badly downtrotten would have BC 1~2.

It's not only a penalty on all magical and magical-boosted tests, but also on the Force of sustained spells and Foci. If the Force hits zero, the spell goes poof. This means that any background count would kill your Foci, BUT it's still something you shouldn't be constantly running into. It's like Noise, it's a GM tool that is best used sparingly.

It should also be noted that some background counts are temporary. So, if you are planning to run against a place that just had a riot, then the emotions that were stirred up by the rioters would cause a pretty hefty background count. Just something to keep in mind if you try the low Force + reagents trick.
