Digital release:

Piercing the Night

You heard the scream. It’s important to remember that. Sometimes, when it’s late, and you hear something that sounds like a scream echoing through dark alleys, you try to convince yourself that it was something else. An animal. An illusion. Anything but what it sounded like.

But it was a scream. You heard it, and you’ll hear it again, because in the Sixth World, the supply of terror is growing. Bug spirits work to devour corporations from within. Shedim claim dead bodies and mobilize to their own dark ends. And the hidden corners of the metaplanes and the Matrix contain creatures that are best not imagined, because to imagine them is to sever ties with reason.

Dark Terrors is a catalog of the horrors lurking under the surface of the Sixth World. With plot updates and hooks, critter stats, and campaign information presented in an immersive style, it’s an invaluable resource for players ready to stay on the edge of their seats. It is for use with Shadowrun, Fifth Edition and Shadowrun: Anarchy.

Darn it, I was going to say something, but can't get the spoiler tag to work correctly.

Enjoying the fluff quite a lot, so far!
I have a bit of mixed feelings about the crunch (SR absolutely didn't need even more stuff only mages can handle), but seeing Twist post again was really nice. Happy to see he is still considered "being alive", basically one of my favourite runners. Just a bit surprised nobody seemed to recognise him, considering his associates back in the day.

To whomever wrote him:
Please make this Mantis-Spirit Jackpointer a semi-regular.
So much potential for wird, funny and strange viewpoints/comments.

Got a Matrix rule question from p. 132.  Anyone mind if I ask, or would that be a spoiler?

Edit: to heck with it.  Does the Dox rules apply only to technos?  The book states that deckers and technos are subject to Dox attacks.  However, to see if the Dox is aware of the hacker, 2D6 is compared to the hacker's Submersion grade.  So are deckers screwed, are only technos subject to the Dox, or is this a typo, with something else other than the Submersion grade (Firewall?) being compared?

Why is CGL ok with this?

Small typo with MASSIVE weight. Very much to be corrected.

I just wanted to say that this book both filled me with excitement and made me nauseous. It’s well written with some nasty surprises. Good job!
If Tom Brady’s a Spike Baby, what does that make Brees and Rodgers?

Project Garden was a very discomforting read, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be printed. Tamanous is that kind of organization.
Well that section and the five year old “wine”

That these sections have that affect on me is twofold: one, it means they are really well written. Two I have become a lot more emotional and easy to influence after having spawn of my own.

So please, take my reaction as the praise it honestly is
