As we are in Honolulu, I would expect GM to tell us what it looks like and get some atmosphere to the game

About the hotel: I think it's to you. You paid for your lifestyle so you can choose any hotel in this price class. And since Honululu is a big city you should be able to find anything you can imagen.

dont get me wrong, but in this case we should play whole game alone and we dont need any GM. in the past we gathered a lot of info about polynesia, dinos etc by ourselves, but interaction with the world(GM) is beeing kept at minimum. So I want at least to know how the Honolulu looks like, what is the feeling from its airport, what about cab drivers...are they nice to tourists? Are those streets clean? Where is my hotel situated..do I see the ocean? When going there from airport, did we meet someone interesting? Does the receptionist offered us some special services off record? Does silk had a chance to make an impression on someone we can use later? did we got scanned for ware and weapons? What about magic?
ETC. Living, breathing, kicking world..

By the way, what would a corp like Aztech do with Dr. Riley if another corp, for example one more associated to Amazonia, would bought him? Or if he tries to hide some major defects in the dino clones?

Since the lifestyle of the whole team is low or squatter their hotel will be very, very far away from the ocean until you pay a little bit extra to improve your lifestyle. Same holds for the airplane they are using.
