...while I'm tempted to post a reference to Jackpoint in response to the head cases comment, I'm not sure how widely read Jackpoint actually is in-universe. 

The Wyrm Ouroboros:
Like anything in the shadows, the information gets spread around.  Names may be changed to protect the guilty - 'friend of a friend', so to speak - but the core info is disseminated pretty thoroughly through the shadows, at least the upper and middle 'levels', as it were.  Newbies, especially matrix-ignorant ones, haven't a chance in hell ...

She's still not the right character to make the comment, though, you're right about that.
