So am I in the host now or are we outside it still?  I assume I have seen all the matrix icons available due to my rolls previously otherwise.  If we are still outside can I get a list of the matrix icons in here.  If I'm inside I will use these.

@Enui - the RCC is in the host - and you only know that because Wheely hacked into the host and spotted it. It is not visible in the matrix, the building seems ordinary EVERYTHING has a matrix icon, from the cofee machine, the doors windows, the smartgun system of the security guard, two comlinks on the secretary and a wired reflexes system that you see no person next to.

There are no RCC icons at all.

Sorry I haven't been posting a much as I should be.  The holidays are keeping me nonstop busy at my job.  I'm trying to make time to be here more but my schedule isn't giving me much leeway.  Again, I apologize for my absence.

Everyone runs the AR/VR a little bit differently I'm just trying to get a feel for the way you do.  As I understand it the weakness of a physical presence inside the host.  Connecting from meatspace to a location that is hosted is just as easy to do as something not in a host.  I guess what I'm trying to figure out is what kind of distance do we need to see an icon on a host in AR?  normal wireless ranges less based on the host rating or line of sight etc.

You cannot see an icon in a host unless you are also in the same host. I'll let you see that there a remote host access point, in Luna.

Wait are you saying you can be standing right next to the RCC and couldn't see the icon because it's in the host?  what's the point of onsite hacking then?
