Nuyen for Karma?

One of my players asked about trading Nuyen for Karma.  i don't remember seeing it in 4th edition, I believe it 3rd, but can someone help me out?  If it is in 4th ed please reference where?

I don't believe it ever made it into 4th edition.  It was in the SR2 and SR3 versions of the Companion though, as I recall.

Be careful with this though.  Some characters really don't have a lot of need for money, and those characters can really destabilize a game quick if you don't put limits on it.
