Yeah, adding the options in some of the missions was pretty cool. I also like the rpg like leveling and that buying stores helps take over the city. The change from strongholds mini missions to the big group of gangers to kill Gang Activity I dislike tho. And I miss Freckle B@#%h's commercials.

Yeah, well, after the condition she was in in Saints Row 2, I doubt she lived much longer.

Beginning to think I need to check these games out.

They're both for sale on X-Box Marketplace.  Saints Row 2 is available on the PS3 Store and Steam.  However, I've heard the PC port of Saints Row 2 was not so good.

The first two Saint's Row games are available in a 2-pack for Xbox as well. My roomie found it around for under $25.

It's not bad... I'm glad I have a wired 360 controller to plug into a USB port, though, or it would've been awkward.

]$19.54 from Amazon, for the 360.  Not that I've been enjoying SR3 so much I'm shopping around or anything.  ;)

Y'know... it's really nice being able to walk into the huge three-way battle in the last mission chunk being completely immune to all damage, cheat free. :)

Wow... just... wow.

Convoluted powering up, or just a story-based power?

Level and RPG-Based System with purchasable powers.  50% immunity to fire is a damned handy one when you're using Incendiary Rounds and the enemy decides to zerg rush you while burning.

Hit level 50 and spend enough coin and your basically superman with guns. You can sprint forever, your immune from all damage and you have infinite ammo on all guns. At that point tho, your basically running the city. Got so say, the Deckers branch had be chuckle time and time again. From the kinds of things Kinzie say at the drop of a hat, to the HQ you get once the branch is over, the whole thing is just so neon and over the top i think i should have been running power metal on a loop in the background...

Also helps that i opted for the third male voice, making even the craziest statement sound practically deadpan.

The wikia page claims that said gang is a Shadowrun reference.

Oh and keep a ear open while doing the "stop the downloading" mission ;)
