I've seen a decent set at my FLGS/Army Surplus Store if you don't have a security/emergency services store in your area.
I guess I'm being knit-picky, but I'm guessing you mean FLG (friendly local gunsmith)... Unless your gaming store is also a surplus store?!

My Friendly Local Gaming Store is also an Army Surplus Store.

There used to be a massive army surplus store in Winnipeg, but it was driven into the ground after the new owners got a hold of it.  The owner of my FLGS, which had just moved and had lots of extra space, started making connections with folks and soon was swimming in Army Surplus.

I got a nice 1950s-Era German Entrenching Tool.  German Steel and Hard Wood, much better than those aluminum POSes they try to pass off as the same thing...

Damn. Where is this place so I can go in, then come out less wealthy but better supplied? Local surplus stores here are little more than camping gear stores with camo patterns on the window.

You could also go to the major distributors for current gear, as well, like Brigade Quartermasters, Blackhawk or U.S. Calvary (among the many others).

Maybe GS = Gun Store?
FLG is the official blogging acronym for friendly local gunsmith

My Friendly Local Gaming Store is also an Army Surplus Store.

So then GS stands for "Great Store!"

It's a great store and a wonderful hangout for gamers and military veterans (And, of course, those currently serving!).

When the invasion of Afghanistan started, they were one of the major groups in the city trying to get Silly String to soldiers in the field.  (Canadian Troops developed the technique of using Silly String to find Tripwires in unsecured, possibly trapped buildings.).

A highly effective method, to be certain. A serving member of my MMO guild swears by it.

And, to note, would also be a useful tactic to find not only tripwires but monowire and invisible lurkers in shadowrun.

Hey... I'd do it just walking into a room. It'd be just one of many fun uses for a modified arm slide mount.  ::)
