Title: Dragon and level-clearing cards
Post by: Jamelfr on <10-29-14/2317:32>
We are maybe 5-6 victories away from the Dragon mission (okay maybe more lol) and I am thinking about how we would handle him...

Basically, to clear the dragon, we have do a ton of damage in a single turn (8 of one single color or 16 / 24 of cumulative damage).

How do level-clearing cards act in that situation (Lignthing Bolt, the Sniper, Fireball, etc.), since the normal concept of obstacle damage levels seems not to apply to the Dragon?

They don't help against the dragon. Note that they all say they do levels of damage specifically to obstacles.

Oh yeah, I remember now the rule that said effects done on obstacles do not work against bosses unless specified otherwise...

Well, that is evil.   ;D  ;)

I suppose then we will have to rely on those 50 Nuyen upgrades and those tiny 5-upgrade "2 any damage for one color" to have a chance.

Edit : Oh, thank you for the quick answer!  :)
