Background
The son of morally ambiguous business tycoon, James "Jack" McKay and his hippie shaman ex-wife Iris McKay, Dylan cultivates a reputation for being a dangerous loner and street-tough, although he actually has numerous close friends who are extremely loyal to him and of whom he is extremely protective. Brandon Walsh was his best friend in their elite, ultra-wealthy high school and has gone on to become a corporate financial whiz working his way up the ladder with Horizon Group; Brandon's twin sister, Brenda Walsh is a high-powered corporate lawyer, also with Horizon, with her eye on a corner office, Dylan and Brenda had an on-again / off-again romance when they were much younger; Kelly Taylor was Dylan's other perpetual on-again / off-again romance as a teen (Dylan frequently competing for her affections with Brandon), she was a bit of a party-girl as a teen but has matured into a surprisingly stable and calming influence in Dylan's life and helped him get clean, her public persona as a simsense star is still that of a vapid valley girl since that seems to be what the public demands; and finally, David Silver, another old acquaintance from Dlyan's youth. David was the favored son of the richest family in Beverly Hills when they were teens, which is really saying something, as the family were major shareholders of Virtual Disney. Instead of following his controlling father's wishes and joining Horizon Group (after they bought out Virtual Disney in 2068), David fancied himself an entrepreneur and has opened a string of nightclubs, bars, restaurants, and luxury hotels... All of which have shone as bright and as briefly as supernovae. Silver's only really talent seems to be keeping himself out of trouble with the law and always finding some new idiot who will invest millions in David's next big thing.

Dylan has taken to life in the shadows of the Cal Free State, calling himself "Pike" and working as a con-man, grifter, and wheelman. He's been known to work regularly with another Adept, a young woman who's youthful good looks belie her status as a preternaturally skilled martial artist. She is known only as "The Slayer."

Build Notes:
A somewhat unserious build, meant to commemorate the passing of Luke Perry. I'll always remember him as Pike, the first great love in the life of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but without a doubt his most famous role is that of Beverly Hills 90210's brooding bad boy, Dylan McKay. His passing at the tragically young age of 52, is a sign for me and the rest of Generation X that we aren't getting any younger. Despite not really being a serious build, he works out as a nice combination of "Face" and "Wheelman," which could prove useful in a streets focused campaign.

And I just realized I used a picture of Jason Priestley...

Oh, man... That’s gonna earn me some negative karma.
