Is there any ETA on a schedule for Missions events running at Origins 2012?

Waiting on Approval, I'll post when things are final.

We have a few more Missions running than last year.  We'll also be running a handful of games of CGL's Retro-50's-Sci-Fi game Cosmic Patrol.  And the Shadowrun Scramble will be from Noon to 8 M on Saturday this year, giving us more time to utilize the Exhibit hall as part of the event.

Okay, thanks.

And ack, now I have to decide between the Scramble and the Arcanis Battle Interactive.

Sorry :(

We're switching to Saturdays for both conventions from now on.  Satruday is the day with the best attendance, so it's the best day for the fans overall, and for us it gives us more time to prep and plan onsite.  Last year, with the scavenger hunt, we were scrambling (no pun intended) to get things set up and talk to folks like Echo and the geek Chic booth to give players places to go do things.  And moving it earlier instead of 4 to midnight allows us more time when things like the art hall and exhibit hall are open.

Event grids are up!

And, ARGH, why can't Origins standardize their gaming slots?  Events from different game groups all starting and ending at odd times, all overlapping unevenly. Meaning that if I want to play, say, Shadowrun, I have to NOT play two slots of another game, or play one of the other game and not play two Shadowrun slots.

:(

It's because other game companies are lazy, and don't want to run wall to wall events.  <grin>  Our slots are set up the way they are so that we can have non-stop Shadowrun from 8 AM till Midnight. :)

Yeah, hah, as a player, I can say I USED to be like that, wall to wall gaming from 8 am to 4 am every day of a con, and crashing after I get home to sleep for 14 hours straight.

Of course, I was quite a bit younger then. These days I kinda appreciate a slightly more relaxed schedule, and refuse to play midnight slots. Of course, these days I also have to choke down a handful of pills every morning just to stay healthy. So much for aging gracefully.

Ah well, I'll adjust. Thanks for running all this stuff!

The key words you need to use with some of the GMs are:  trash bags, Alero, and scrubs.

This is a friendly tip for those of you attending.

One free use of edge at my table for any player who can construct the entire story (convention GMs don't count)...

Yep.

...

Damnit.  Had to choose to go to GenCon instead of Origins.   :'(  Oh well, at least I can make a Con this year.
