Time to mop up the remnants of your soycaf there is work to be done!

This is going to be my first time running a PbP campaign and I'm rather looking forward to it.
For your information I am online everyday pretty much, and my time zone is GMT.

So down to the brass tax the details are below:

Requirments:
1. Be nice OOC we are all here for fun after all - If I feel your not being nice there will be a warning then the next action is Thor and an open slot in the team. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
2. 750 Karma Gen build (This is based on personal preference as I have found it builds rounder characters on the whole)
3. Books allowed:

I am willing to consider other books if you have something that you would particularly like to add.

4. All characters will need to approved prior to play.

House Rules/Clarification:
Mystic Adepts have Force for spells capped by the magic they devote to Casting/ Summoning.
Empathy Software is limited by response on your PAN.
Emotitoys are BANNED!
Price mark-up on restricted gear of 20%
Price mark-up on forbidden gear of 50%
Special Attributes do not count towards 1/2 Karma limit
I am an A$$ when it come to cyber limbs and you would be advised to plan that most cases will require averaged (5 Limbs) stats. I.E shooting a pistol uses more than a hand...
Initiation/ Submersion is available within reason

Notes
I am not well versed with the cannon and plot lines so deviations etc... should be taken with a pinch of salt.
I will be using Invisible Castle for dice rolls.
The campaign will start in Moscow.
Low level contacts will be easy to pick up in game
Please leave a legend in your signature for ease of establishing what is being said etc...

What to do next?
If you are interested in playing in my campaign please leave a post briefly introducing yourself.. Ask any questions you need to and state what kind of character you are looking to play. Feel free to post a character sheet if you want... however there will be time to do this after group members have been chosen so it is not essential.

I will select the 4 members from the best post and will PM them to let the know by Sunday 2nd June.

I am very interested, have multiple characters floating in the wings. I will get started on creation and should have something posted by tomorrow

As for character type, i prefer to play an investigator type, someone able to talk his way through bad situations and fight his way out of worse ones. I'm playing with the idea of adding magic to it, but relying more on detection type spells than a heavy spell slinger combat mage type. I guess the closest archetype would be the occult investigator from the core book.

Hey I would love to play. Though I have never done a pbp and I am still considered new to SR. I have several characters pretty much ready to go. One is an ex swat turned runner still an overall good guy one is a hacker AA corp CEO son now in hiding. One is a charismatic troll adept punches hard. Very hard. "Trust me, just sign the paper And all will be fine" I've always kinda wanted to do a pbp though afraid I'd frag it up /: here's to hoping lol. And do we know yet where it is going to take place?

Very interested in playing! Been part of two PbPs that haven't gone very far and I hope that changes with this one (if selected of course).

Here's a character concept I've posted up a while ago and I really want to flesh this character out if given the chance: Miner Fox is an enigma in the shadow runner community. Some say he's an ex-spy that worked for the UCAS, or a soldier of fortune that's been in the Desert Wars and multiple hot spots across the Earth, or maybe he was a agent for one of the AAA corps; No one really knows and he never tells people much about himself either even some of his closest contacts. He doesn't really have any friends and is more inclined to call them contacts more then friends. Some say he's working with a smuggler crew up in T-Bay while some say he's in Berlin doing some work for the corps there.

Miner is known to be a sure shot with any gun you put in his hands. He's also good without a gun too but he prefers to take in the action from a distance. Explosives also seem to be Miner's niche as well... he just likes to make things go boom sometimes. If you also need someone that knows how to drive... Miner's your man.

Currently in two PbPs, although one seems to have stopped for now. Very interested in joining this one! Prefer the first concept if only because I'm much better versed with the matrix and technomancery than with magic.

Concept 1: Fang is a severely SURGEd Technomancer whose habit of staying on the 'Trix, have crippled his matrix social skills. His only actual friend is his lover, who isn't as bothered by Fang's odd mannerisms and animalistic appearance. He's not all that well-known as a runner since he's still working on getting a reputation, having only arrived in Moscow from Munich a couple of years ago.

Concept 2: Tobias is a Fox shapeshifter hailing from London. Being rather lonely as a human and a critter, he decided to make friends by capitalising on his Awakened nature and summoning spirits. This later became a 'thing' for him and one of the things he specialised in when providing support in a run. It helped make up for his terrible social skills and lack of education.

I would be interested in playing.  I have an idea for a twitchy, jumpy mage character who tends to stunball when he's surprised.  As it's just an idea at the moment, I don't have a paragraph to tell you about him.

Interested as well. I had a concept made for another game but it never really happened. I am here daily, so no issues with posts when it comes to me.

Here's the concept: a French ex-management type adept with quick hands and an even quicker mouth. He made a few mistakes, got blacklisted from the company world and turned to the shadows. If it sounds interesting, I can PM you his background story.

Hello, I too have been in game that didn't survive long and would love to be able to participate in a new one. I'm glad to also see fellow players are on board, I hope we'll be able to play together again.

I'd like to try my hand on a Technomancer this time. He's a Japanese young man who ran away when he discovered his abilities. Though not a fighter, he's a thrill seeker who doesn't hesitate to put himself (and others too) in danger to reach his goal. Running the shadows give him the ability to utilize his skills and develop further his understanding of what the Matrix is to the world. He believes he has been chosen, and the Matrix has greater goal for him.  He sees the Matrix as a well of limitless possibilities.

Concept One: Naga infiltration/unarmed combat adept, street name: Firewhip. Firewhip, named for his fire elemental strike, is a former parasecurity critter stolen from his homeland at a young age. He was set free by environmental activists, who were killed shortly thereafter. Firewhip managed to escape though, and lacking a way back home, fell into the shadows.

Concept Two: Human gambler that's down on his luck, street name: Aces. Aces, after a life of petty crime to feed his gambling habit, has developed an eclectic range of skills, making him a generalist in several areas. His greatest talent however is his luck, when the chips are down Aces still comes out on top...most of the time. He recently made a substantial bet, and lost big time. He's joined the shadows to pay off his debt.

Since everyone else has been posting about how often they can post, I suppose it's only fair if I do so as well. I can easily post once a day, possibly twice a day, unfortunately, I am in Afghanistan with the Army, so there may be a time or two that I won't be able to post for a day due to internet blackouts (if someone gets seriously injured they cut off communication until that person's family can be notified) or if I am forced to work a longer than usual shift. I understand that this may be detrimental to my case, but you can ask a couple of the people here, who were in my previous game, I'm sure they will tell you that I do not give up easily (game only died out cause it went from 6 solid players down to 2-3 active at any time).
