....any chance we could get the different drug grades (Pharmaceutical and Designer) in the drugs section with the appropriate prices?  I have to keep hacking the Gear.xml file to add them in every new version and with the recent changes now have to assign them a new ID as well or it just loads the base item when purchasing).

...so with the impending acquisition of GitHub by Microsquish, what does this mean for Chummer development?

tl;dr Nothing presently.

If I need to pull up stumps and move the repo there's maybe a day's effort in converting the updater to use a different API, but Microsoft doesn't really have anything to gain from kiboshing open source development on the platform; if anything, the purchase will help to keep GitHub alive as Microsoft's enterprise sales channels are much stronger.

If I make any new character, give them a piece of armor, and then click on "Selected Armor"... Chummer crashes :(

Aha, found the problem. I'll push a new build for it in a moment.

...I just hope we don't lose W7 support on the user end.

Already had to move from my Xp system to the W7 one (so no longer can run my character from Chummer at Missions sessions as the W7 system is a desktop).

Steering clear of W10 for as long as I can as I just don't care for MS's heavy handed update policy, forcing unnecessary "junk" features on users that are difficult or even impossible to totally disable (like Cortana), and making users pay for useful functions that once were part of the OS.

...on a more topical note, I notice that recent versions no longer have the "Pets and Cohorts" tab under Street Gear.  Leela just acquired a "special" pet but no place to put it. I also made sure that Howling Shadows was one of the selected sourcebooks.

Pets and Cohorts got shunted into the Relationships tab a while back.

As far as Windows 7 support goes I largely consider it a nice-to-have, but not essential. If an issue crops up that I can't replicate on my dev boxes and seems to be confined to Windows 7 it's unlikely to get much traction, unless another dev looks at it. Historically that sort of thing has just been Windows 7's abysmal support for DPI scaling though, so I doubt anything's likely to happen on that front.
