I'm curious how people handle the switch between normal, matrix, and astral initiative. The rules already handle the changes in number of passes: Take away any lost immediately, add any gained next Turn. But what do you do about the initiative number? Re-roll it immediately, or next turn? If you go back to the original state, do you re-roll again or use the original number?

If the same person is switching, I make them reroll whenever they do so.

My group's house rule is "The player roles when his/her turn is completed." We do this to save time, so not everyone's not delayed at the beginning of the next turn.

So, I'd say immediately, just so you can get the roll out of the way and not have to worry about it. However, since any added passes won't be gained till next turn and any dropped passes are lost during current turn, does it really matter?
