Hoi Chummers,

I've been lurking on different shadowrun forums for quite awhile and every so often someone will post a Google Earth map with Shadowrun info on it. Each time I've come across one of these I've saved it and added it to my own GE file. After a lot of work deleting duplicate information and adding things of my own, I've decided to release the file to the public for all to enjoy.

This map includes TONS of locations in Seattle and other major cities, ganger territories, country borders, district borders, security ratings and more!

Please be aware that most of the information in this file is from 3rd edition, however much of it will still be relevant to any SR game. Also, please be aware that this file is still very much a work in progress, I've been swamped with work and unable to give this project the attention it deserves so I've decided to release it in the hopes that others will pick up the slack and finish the areas I've neglected.

I do not take credit for the entirety of the work of this file, I would like to give credit where credit is due but I neglected to keep track of which users created which parts. If your work is in this file, please leave a post saying so and I'll add your name to the list of contributors.

Sweet!  Great job compiling this info!

Looks like it's been removed . Was that on purpose? You got me all excited.

Weird, I don't know why that happened.

Anyway, I've replaced the original with a small update, I found a few things in the wrong folders and some other stuff, nothing big.

Absolutely, I've never been one to take credit for another persons work. BTW, awesome job on the borders, I was working on some myself when I found yours. Hurt a bit to delete them, but yours were much prettier.

I wish I saved the names of the other people I got this info from, I'd love to give them credit too.

Thanks. Yeah. Those borders. I exceeded the polygon node limit on Russia when I was about half way done with it. So I had to go back over it deleting every-other node and thereby decreasing its accuracy.

Below are my unfinished files for Asia, Europe (just Russia), and the Middle East as they might be useful to people and since I'm not sure when I'll get back to finishing them. Note that they contain the image overlays of the 4th ed map-sections that I was using (uncheck the "image overlay" entries in each to clear them) and there's probably a country in Asia that isn't finished as I've forgotten where I left off (but in doing a quick review, it looks like I finished all the nations I started).

Asia http://fizzygoo.com/Sr/Support/Asia.kmz (2.9 MB)
Russia http://fizzygoo.com/Sr/Support/Europe.kmz (6.3 MB)
Middle East http://fizzygoo.com/Sr/Support/Middle East.kmz (1.8 MB)

Frosty data chummer.

I've added it to the file, made a few edits on my own work and even added some more borders. (including all of the districts of Tir Na Nog)

Now up to version 1.2  Link has been updated :D

What program do I need to open the file?  .kmz is not one I am familiar with and windows7 doesn't want to play with it

To those of you having trouble with the file, its for use with Google Earth, not Google Maps.

You can download Google Earth here: http://www.google.com/earth/

Google Earth different from Google Maps? What is Google Maps mapping, Venus?
